Welcome to Deer Hideout Retreat! We are located in Palmyra, Virginia, on two acres of land. There's an abundance to see and to do around here, and we hope you choose our home for your stay. We are far enough outside of the city to enjoy the peace and quiet, but just a short drive to all the action. We are close to Monticello, James Monroe's Highland and 28 minutes away from the city center of historic Charlottesville. There are plenty of vineyards all around us and a couple of orchards, too.

This is a newly built addition to our property, but is a separate 2 BR apartment with an equipped kitchen/living room and one bathroom. One bed is a queen, one is a double. Your entrance is separate, but we share a courtyard and driveway. The front stoop is just a few steps from your parking spot (there are 5 steps down, and one up) and a balcony in the back that looks over our backyard. Our home is nestled in between Ivy and Crozet, Virginia at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We live on a private 2 acre lot that is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We have daily visits from deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, a variety of birds, and on occasion we see fox and bears. It feels very secluded yet convenient to everything. We are just 8 miles from UVA, convenient to many local wineries and breweries, and have hiking and biking opportunities all around us.
