Our fully remodeled mother in law studio unit is 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to downtown and 5 minutes to Kincaid Park (1,516.78 acres of trails for cycling, running, hiking, disc golf, or simply taking in the scenery & wildlife). We are also within walking distance to fine & casual dining as well as a local coffee house. A few nights stay or as a "home base", we offer a comfortable home away from home for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We hope to be your hosts!

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use the canoe at Sand Lake.

Our place is located in south anchorage up on the hillside surrounded by beautiful trees and right by the hillside park , it’s a very safe and private neighborhood. You will have you own studio apartment to yourself. We are 3.1 miles from the closest grocery store (7 mins). We are 5.5 miles from the alaska native hospital (11 mins). We are 0.8 of a mile from hilltop skii area and hillside park (3 mins) and about a 5 min. walk. We are 2.4 miles from the alaska zoo (5mins).

Come stay at our clean private suite located minutes from the airport, downtown and Kincaid Park! The airport is just 2 miles away. This one bedroom suite offers a comfortable queen sized bed and a full sized hide-a-bed in the living room couch. This cozy smoke-free suite is connected to our home but you can come and go as you please through your own private entrance. It is the perfect place to stay on your next Alaskan adventure. Your private “sweet" is through the home's shared entry. We are 5.1 miles from ANC airport (13 min by car or approx $20-$22 Uber/Lyft/taxi). Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.

We aim for you to feel as though you are visiting family. The spacious yard features a large swing set for kids and a sandbox. Pat will likely greet you and give you a verbal tour of Alaska. Fast Wi-Fi. Guests have been treated to moose and babies right outside the back door, ravens, Steller jays, squirrels, and rarely a bear. There are plenty of resources for you to plan your trip.
