Family-friendly holiday rentals in Arnac-Pompadour

We had a wonderful stay at Sylvia's. The place is perfectly located to discover the points of interest of Périgord. The accommodation is equipped for a small family and very cozy, the jacuzzi and swimming pool are real plus. On top of that, hosts are available and attentive if needed. Nothing to complain about, wishlist assured ✨

Large and well-equipped accommodation, we were 2 families with small children and Leigh provided us with all the necessary equipment. Small downside on the cleanliness of the dishes and cutlery, we had to rewash everything before the first use. Please note that some photos of the listing are no longer relevant, including the small pizzeria supposed to be on site, that's a shame...

For what was a budget friendly stay for us we were happy with the accommodation and it’s facilities. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy at any time of the day and was totally private. Our dog Merlin had plenty of space to explore the gardens and plenty of beautiful walks nearby. Although we were there out of season, there was still many things in the local area to do. We highly recommend visiting Chamberet to hire some electric bikes and tour the wonderful scenery. Seems to be lots of English in the area which meant many restaurants/places of interest had English speakers. Although not essential for us, it could be beneficial for future guests whom may struggle with the French language. We only had one negative to our experience and it was that the double bed wasn’t at all comfortable. Although, we appreciate for some, the hard spring mattress may be exactly what they like. Never the less, we spend the rest of our stay on the two single beds instead which were a little better for us.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

We were absolutely delighted with how our host Paul renovated an old stable in a quiet location on a huge property. Old building fabric and modern building technology (heat pumps, floor heating, wallbox, etc.) were perfectly combined with each other. There was always enough space at every point in the house. The spacious rooms with antique furniture, each with their own bathrooms, met our expectations. Thanks to underfloor heating, the rooms were always perfectly air-conditioned and hot water for the shower was always available. The large kitchen and its furnishings left nothing to be desired. Positive mention should be made of the utility room with second fridge, washing machine and dryer. We often enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The pool was always very well tempered in October. Paul was always responsive. There were no problems. A clogged filter in the jacuzzi was repaired in no time. Loved it so much. We want to come back

What a week!! We spent an exellent week in the exeptional charms area. We were able to enjoy the new house residence. This place has a charming decor and is very tasteful. The bedding is very comfortable the sheets are even fragrant. The pool and hot tub are very clean. Thank you again Simon and Sharon for your discretion and at the same time being available when needed. The bottle of wine was very good. It was a week of happiness for us. we spent 2 nights at Domaine de la Ribiere. Heidi and her husband hosted us very well despite the language barrier. they have a beautiful park, a great pool and the place was perfect too. thank you.

Very pleasant stay in this small cottage, very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we will be happy to return to on a future trip!

Alexandra's mom gave us an excellent welcome, with nice little touches. Very available and responsive as well as her husband. The setting is very relaxing and the house is large and very well-equipped. I highly recommend it.

We were staying at Le Ranch as a stop over to our holiday in the South of France, but we ended up not wanting to leave. Le Ranch is a quiet, peaceful hidden gem. The yurt is superb, spotlessly clean, and beautifully arranged with the most comfortable beds. All the facilities on site are also spotless. Not only that but Mike and Hayley couldn't have been more accommodating hosts - helpful and always on hand. Although it was meant to be a 'stop off' we will be back to stay again! It really is the perfect place if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing camping experience.

Delightful and well-equipped gite in very peaceful and relaxing location. Would be great for kids. Excellent base for lots of activities and history (and pre-history). Franck and Anne are charming, interesting and helpful hosts.

We had a great time at Dominique's place. The setting is really idyllic, and the place is very well equipped. The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms, making it easy to live together for a group like ours. We'll be back!

Everything was good! The cottage and its environment are absolutely charming and super quiet. Beautiful walks directly outside the door. Easily accessible sights... Ideal for lovers of nature and beautiful stones...

One night only but a quiet night, in the nature, good bedding, everything to serve yourself, very clean. We recommend 😉 Maybe specify that the sleeping areas are separated by the floors but without a door. Corinne is a very enjoyable host! A property to be kept

Great stay at Renata's! Even better than in the photos, the house is well equipped, magnificent gardens and views of the valley, beautiful swimming pool, the best game room for children as well as outdoor games (cabin, swing, hammock, ping pong...) really has everything you need! Nearby activities, Hautefort castle, Lascaux cave, hook branches... Renata is a very friendly woman, attentive and understanding, I recommend it without hesitating!

Mauricette and her husband are super people! They help you on all levels. House is cozy but the outside is even more cozy ! Great to stay there. With nice weather, it's there. Little paradise! Too bad there is nothing to do in the close vicinity, if you want peace and quiet nature, you are definitely in your place here. Then we definitely recommend this home!
