The hospital in Hüsten is 2 km away, and the emergency medicine training centre in Neheim is 3 km away. There are regular bus services. There are 2 grocery shops and 2 bakeries within walking distance. Interesting nearby destinations include the Old Town and 3 reservoirs. Arnsberg has two outdoor swimming pools and the NASS centre, which features a brine pool and a sauna.

(Shared bathroom for two apartments) Parking in front of the house (narrow). More parking is available at the "Alter Markt" [Old Market] (Mon - Fri 9 am - 8 pm, Sat 9 am - 4 pm for a fee) and in the underground car park at Neumarkt (for a fee). Arnsberg's sights can be easily reached on foot from our studio. Henne-, Möhne- and Sorpesee are about 30 minutes away by car.

The surrounding area offers numerous excursion destinations. Great also as a starting point for hikes with dogs. Free-range area in Arnsberg about 10 min. by car. 50 m from the edge of the forest.

The forest and the golf course (with public restaurant) are 2 minutes by foot. The Ruhr Valley Cycle Trail leads through Neheim-Hüsten, making it ideally suited for cyclists as a stopover. There is a lot to explore by car within half an hour, such as the Sorpe and Möhnetal dams, the old town of Arnsberg and also the historic town of Soest.

Our ecological log cabin, built in 2022, is located on the edge of an oak grove on a 550 m high plateau called Oesterberge, in the middle of the Sauerland Nature Park. When furnishing, we placed special emphasis on stylish and comfortable furnishings. For hikers, mountain bikers, but also for families with children, it becomes a small paradise. Located on the edge of our farm, guests of all ages can experience pure nature, tranquility and spectacular views.

Enjoy nature in an apple tree house and shepherd's wagon

Outdoor fans, take note! On our farm we have just the thing for you: A cozy wooden car with a loft bed (1.40 m) and sofa bed (1.20 m) and a shepherd's wagon with a large lying area (2 m x 2.20 m). There is also a shower house with toilet in the meadow. Our ducks and pigs live right next door. There is electricity. Wi-Fi is available in the farmhouse 150 meters away. There you can use a kitchen. Breakfast basket (also vegetarian) can be booked for €9/person

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. Linen and towels are provided and, like electricity, heating and Wi-Fi, are included in the price.
