Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Asheville

Nice place to get away from everything , very peaceful. The caretaker Ryan was friendly and made the stay better . Would definitely book again if I’m every in the area

Was a great place to spend the night... all of the rooms and furniture were great. Loved it...

We had a family weekend and the house worked out great for all 7 of us. My daughter has a wheelchair so it was very specious for her, but the only bathroom she could get into was the master bathroom. Communication with Mr. Lake Lure was great! We usually stay at a local BNB in the area, but they didn't have enough room for us all, and this house worked out perfectly!! We will definitely rent again if we are all together in the area.

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

We booked with Ian last second due to our previous airbnb not being ready and the hot tub was broken… Ian was quick in action to have cleaners get to the house before we finished biltmore, the house was beautiful and very clean, we enjoyed the privacy his house had to offer! This property we stayed at was by far the best house and the cleanest of all properties I have ever stayed at! The property is VERY close to downtown Asheville!! 10/10 recommend booking with this host!!

Home was clean and perfect for our trip. The neighborhood was peaceful but it is also in a great location and within minutes to everything we needed.

We loved our stay here. The house is impeccable, the garden is so beautiful. The beds are really comfy and spacious. You have everything you need in the kitchen. The drive to Asheville is short and the environment is gorgeous.

We had a wonderful weekend! Lizzy’s home was just as described. We enjoyed spending time on the screen porch which had an amazing view of the pond. We even caught a few fish! This is the perfect house to be both secluded in nature but close to town. Flat Rock was a short couple minuet drive away. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Flat Rock area.

Comfortable, super clean, couldn’t ask for a better location. Walkable to everything in town. Quick response time from host. Highly recommend.

This sweet place is lovely, peaceful, private but also social if you prefer, walkable, safe, and has everything you could need. I appreciated having a dedicated off-street parking spot during my stay. Everything is clean and fresh and well thought out. The bed was a dream and the linens were exquisite, must have been a very high thread count. This was the perfect base to explore Asheville from and thanks to Emilie’s recommendations, I had exceptional local experiences. I will definitely be back for another stay at the Chestnut Street Inn!

Exquisite furnishings, comfort and quality of linens and bedding. A wall of windows looking out to gorgeous forest and sunset views. Walking distance to Grovepark Inn providing exercise, shopping and dining accommodations within steps of the woodland basement apartment.The fireplace in winter and outdoor patio in summer are lovely. Bear sightings are assured! Owners are nearby if needed but non intrusive. Quiet location. Best Airbnb in all our travels and definitely best place in Asheville. Appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, dishwaher, microwave and toaster oven for light cooking.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We came into town for business. And we’re able to relax every evening. The house was comfortable and felt like home.

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

Kaitlin’s place was perfect for a weekend trip to Asheville! The apartment was a peaceful and cozy space with everything you need. I would highly recommend it for your future Asheville travels!

Lovely place!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a few days for a comedy show in Asheville! The house was clean, and easy to access. And the hot tub made for a great way to end the days!

Casey’s place was perfect to heal us after a traumatic time in life. We got to enjoy a great restaurant just a short drive down the hill, steam and dry sauna, indoor pool and spa. All for the price of staying here. It really was a blessing in the form of a truly last minute booking. It was a private and serene location— with the comfiest bed. Thank you so much.

We had the most wonderful stay at Banff's Lake House! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The cozy, homey atmosphere made it so easy to relax and unwind. My wife absolutely loved every aspect of the house, especially the thoughtful amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The house was incredibly peaceful and tidy, with a calm, serene energy that allowed us to truly enjoy our time away. The highlight for us was definitely the view. Watching the sunset while soaking in the hot tub was an experience we'll never forget. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway with all the comforts of home and stunning views, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Stop searching and book it!! Every aspect of this listing is 10/10 but I will never be able to get over the views. We had such an amazing stay and can’t wait to come back. Loved laying in the hammock at sunset. The bath & shower were awesome! I have never had such a relaxing weekend.
