A gem! I stayed here for a little "me getaway" for my birthday. There are just 4 houses between this airbnb and the beach, it took me 52 seconds to walk from the gate to the sand. Well appointed kitchen, everything was clean and smelled great. Windows in very room w/particularly great natural light in the bedroom... lovely to feel the warm sun in the comfy bed in the mornings. Good window shades to block out light if you prefer. The bathroom is super cute w/little hotel style toiletry bottles provided. There's good temperature control with a heater, A/C and easy to open windows for a cool ocean breeze. Great beaches, parks, restaurants, coffee shops in the area; I found it to be very quiet and serene - you're ensconced behind a gate and walking path so it feels very private and safe. Free street parking. I was not missing a single thing and host was communicative, gave clear and helpful instructions, and had some thoughtful personal touches in the airbnb. Would return in a heartbeat!

I had an amazing stay at this property! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and a great selection of restaurants. The space itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh and inviting from the moment I arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it so easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway!

What a wonderful stay with a beautiful beach front! Parking wasn’t too bad although we had to walk a bit each night which is due to our fault leaving early morning and coming back at 11-12 at night so of course closer parking is not expected but there is a nice area to ensure we can park temporarily for luggage unloading etc. The shower was absolutely amazing and I always looked forward to taking one! Kim was an amazing host and very responsive! I def recommend and would 100% go back!

I had a wonderful long weekend stay at Nick and Kristy’s place in Newport Beach. Great location, close to beach and walkable to restaurants and shopping. Communication leading up to and during my stay was excellent! Kristy and Nick were extremely helpful and responsive throughout. The apartment is exactly as described and fully equipped with everything you need for a stay at the beach. The private rooftop deck is the icing on the cake!! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful for sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this rental and would definitely book again for future travel! Thanks Nick and Kristy!

We very much enjoyed the clean house and quiet neighborhood at Greg’s. It was located near our conference and close to restaurants and shops so we could walk everywhere. Thank you!

We booked this location last minute. Hank and Kimberlyanna were quick to respond and give us access to the property. Perfect location! Beach is right across the street. You can walk to many shops and restaurants. House has a good vibe. Comfortable and cozy. Livingroom opens up to patio with a beautiful view! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun, walkable location.

Given that the second bathroom in outside with a quick walk down side of house, it was lovely and big. Yes, the home is older but extra cozy. The beds were good and small kitchen perfect for cooking. Could use one more serving bowl. Location was divine! short walk to Marine Street and ferry. A quiet, lovely street. We loved the french doors and half doors to let a beach breeze circulate. Washer and dryer were convenient. Parking always available on street. Granted, it is not brand new but had all we needed. Could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We would definitely love to return in the future.

This property lived up to everything promised and more. It was clean (and I am picky!), well located, and easy to access by following the detailed instructions. Our guests, as well as ourselves, were comfortable with the beds and furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels, linens, and little extras were all appreciated. All of us that stayed had no problem with the stairs. If anyone planning to visit has mobility issues, you might want to look elsewhere, but that is the ONLY reason not to book a stay at this wonderful Air B&B. Also, nearby parking was not in issue for our guest who parked nearby on a clearly marked public street (not in the alley behind the property). Thanks Clifton!

Beautiful downstairs unit on the water. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location and incredibly close to the main street. We loved sitting outside and watching the boats and people. We had all types of weather (cloudy and crystal clear) and it was all perfect for different reasons. The kitchen was well stocked. We didnt cook but we baked. I would have loved a kettle but a pan worked just fine. The beds were comfortable and there were enough linens and pillows. Extra too! I appreciated the knit throw blankets as well. I appreciated the washer/dryer and supplies. We washed our towels halfway thru our stay. There were a lot of rules, repeated many times in many different ways, so it made me nervous for the first few days of my stay. I swept and spot clean the floors just to make sure. The unit was a little spendy but it may have been due to the Easter holiday. Communication was good before/during/after our stay. We left something there and they shipped it to us.

Great host, not only is Matt’s place amazing, but he is a top notch host! Truly cares about his guests and quick response times! The house was incredible kitchen had all supplies so I was able to cook without missing anything! The fire pit and BBQ on front patio allowed for amazing memories! The rooftop patio, perfect for the morning sun! Walkable to Main Street and the beach! We never had to drive anywhere! Will definitely be staying here again!

We had the best time!! Everything was just as described. The view from the patio is lovely and the beach is right in front of you. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

The house was so cute and just as described and pictured. We were traveling for a baseball tournament and had 5 boys so they loved the bunk beds and extra beds in the loft. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards and all the boogie boards. There was even a wagon to haul the boogie boards and beach chairs they had for use across the street to the beach which was great! We appreciated the one parking spot but we did have 2 cars so parking was difficult to find at times for the second car in the street but it all worked out. The sound of traffic could be heard from the loft room but wasn’t too bad with the window closed. We loved our stay, the hosts were great and responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to any travelers to include with with kids. The rooftop had amazing views and even all the neighbors were friendly. Loved it! Thank you!!

An absolutely beautiful place and so comfortable and clean!! Just gorgeous and nicely done!! We felt right at home. Tower 17 was responsive when we had trouble with the fireplace and let us add on another night too. I love their generosity with towels and supplies-no nice not to have to worry about them and we could be comfortable. We loved our time at this place!! Thank you!

This was an amazing place to stay. So close to the beach, restaurants, stores, and was easy to get in and out of the area. Sam is a great host and worked well with us if anything came up. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a short stay at Toan’s place but it was lovely. Nice quiet location, easy parking. The Long Beach convention center is about 20-25 minutes away. Sunset beach across the street was nice and quiet. We requested some household supplies and they were very responsive. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

This condo was very beautiful and the views from the living room and dining room were amazing. Our only thing is we didn't realize how steep the stairs were, and my mother couldn't climb them, so she had to stay somewhere else. Then we checked out. So, we paid for something we couldn't enjoy and that was sad. Not even a small portion of a refund was offered to us.

The place was exactly as described — spacious, clean, and right on the beach, which made it super convenient. It easily accommodated our group of 7. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. There was plenty of parking for all our guests, and we loved how close it was to restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay here again!

Michael's place was exactly as described. We had a great time exploring the neighborhood, walking to Whale Watching boats across the street and running on the beach promenade (goes for miles). The location was incredible with access to very good restaurants and shops. I especially appreciated the parking spots which made me feel super safe coming in and out of the building. Michael was also extremely responsive to all our inquiries.

We stayed at this listing for a quick weekend with our dog to visit the beach. It was perfect! Great location and walkable to the beach as well as restaurants and the pier. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is a dream, but what made this space really stand out were the charming Christmas decorations both inside and out, Susan’s quick responses when we had questions, willingness to help us with parking, and literally ANYTHING we needed. Also I just have to comment on how wonderfully comfortable the bed was in the master bedroom. A truly special place on Balboa island in a prime location - for a spectacular stay! Highly recommend!
