Our cozy house (about 60m2) is idyllically located in Schesslitz right at the entrance to the beautiful Burglesau Valley. Not only a charming accommodation awaits you here, but also the perfect starting point for treking, biking or simply relaxing days in nature. In addition to its historic old town, Scheßlitz also offers you all the necessities of daily use. In few minutes you can reach Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage City with unique flair. Absolutely! We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small place with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet. Children will also get their money's worth. Telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi are available, making our accommodation also ideal for home office with family. The nearest shopping is 4 km away.

In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof, in the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The Reuthsee is the largest natural lake Unterfranken (about 17 ha) and is only about 100 meters away as the crow flies. Pure nature. KfW standard until 2017 and completely renovated with a lot of love for detail. Previously used as a weekend house and home office. We are new to Airbnb :) .
