Just relax and unwind: The open-plan living and dining area offers a cosy atmosphere for cooking and enjoying in the kitchen, looking into the fire of the cast-iron stove or reading a good book in the cosy reading bunk. With a far-reaching view of rocks and forests, you can dream of the next hikes in the large double bed under the roof. After long tours, your tired feet can recover under the starry sky in the warm hot tub or in the log sauna.

Apartment Schwalbennest in Hillehof

The Schwalbennest apartment is located in the side wing of the Hillehof in the Ostrau district. From here you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The balcony offers direct access to the garden. The apartment was completely renovated in 2023 and equipped with underfloor heating in all rooms. From the slightly higher bed (about 1.00 m) you can enjoy the view. If you are traveling with your dog, there is a sleeping niche for it under the bed.

The house is located in the Kirnitzschtal, directly on the Kirnitzsch, a tributary of the Elbe. The spa park of Bad Schandau, which offers peace and quiet, is right outside the front door. In the immediate vicinity is also the stop of the historic Kirnitzschtalbahn. The city center and the Tuscany Spa are a 5-minute walk through the city park. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, the Toskanatherme, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the historic Sendig lift or, for example, the National Park Center in the immediate vicinity. Directly from the property you can hike to the Schrammsteine, the Kohlbornstein or the Rathmannsdorfer lookout tower. All other highlights of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland can be reached quickly by car or public transport.

Come to our apartment in Labské pískovce. It is located in the middle of the largest sandstone canyon in Europe in Dolní Žleb. Elbe sandstones are one of the most beautiful climbing areas in our country. Mountain climbers, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers will find something to do here. Five kilometers from us is Hřensko, the entrance station to Pravčická brána. You can go to Děčín for culture and entertainment by bike, train or car.
