Charming peaceful and very well-equipped house! Special mention for all the equipment made available for children: childcare equipment but also many toys, books and board games. We had a pleasant stay with the family, with walks and visits to Chinon and castles not far away.

Sylvie and her family and the puppy, made us feel like friends. The garden was very secure for our dog, lots of lovely places to sit. A good walk for us could be found four minutes walk up the (quiet) road where there was a cycle path that took us into the town with its many amenities, including a lovely little bar and restaurant. Would certainly visit again. Sylvie was specially helpful with any request we made and even telephoned her vet to arrange the necessary paperwork for travelling back to UK with a dog. SO kind, .

We spent 4 days in this house, we enjoyed our stay! The house is very clean, convenient, the kitchen is well equipped, we found everything we needed. There is a terrace. The village is quiet, you can walk or bike around. The hosts, Christiane and Jean Baptiste, are very nice and welcoming. We felt right at home. I would highly recommend it!

We are very satisfied with this rental. The house is in a very good location, very close to the castles of Chinon, Langeais, Azay-le-Rideau, Saumur, the Abbey of Fontevraud... and the Bourgueil, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Chinon vineyards... The house is spacious with 3 large bedrooms with bathroom in each, very large living room with open-plan kitchen, and all appliances as described. Two bedrooms have access to the garden, the third is upstairs. Linens and towels provided. The gate is wide enough to park your car inside, driveway long enough for 2 cars. Plus, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. One day, we needed a screwdriver and Patrick came to bring it to us, despite the late hour. When we left, Patrick and Isabelle came to say goodbye to us and trusted us, refusing to check the condition of the premises. We highly recommend this rental.
