Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. The accommodation is conveniently located between the Indre-et-Loire, the Vienne and the Maine-et-Loire; which will allow you to visit easily. The Loire Castles (Château du Rivau "known as Sleeping Beauty" 20 km away, Château de Chion 10 km away), the Wine Route, the Abbey of Fontevraud, the Futuroscope or Center Parc will no longer have secrets for you.

L'Escampette welcomes you near the medieval city of Chinon, in a typical Tourangelle house, which we have completely renovated, with very beautiful volumes, as well as a large garden with a very quiet environment, in the middle of the fields, unobstructed view of the countryside. In the heart of the Loire Valley castles, 5 min from the Chinon fortress, close to Saumur, Azay-le-Rideau, the Fontevraud Abbey, also enjoy walks on the Loire Valley bike circuit, and wine tastings...

Chinon is 4.5 km away, Tours is 40 minutes away, Saumur is 30 minutes away… Not suitable for people with limited mobility (steps, stairs...)
