Bright detached apartment in the immediate vicinity of the Rhine, quietly located in the countryside. Accessible through the garden (shared use possible). We are a family of 5 with a playful dog and 2 cats and are happy to give tips for a nice holiday. We are hosts with body and soul. The city center (cathedral...) is easily accessible by public transport and by bike (can be provided). Shops serving everyday needs can be found within walking distance. Our "cottage" is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbours and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In 2019, we completely renovated a part of our monumental farmhouse into a beautiful farmhouse; Hoeve de Bies. Hoeve de Bies has all the comforts. So you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with various homemade products. Due to its location, Hoeve de Bies is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. So you can shop, and experience culture in Valkenburg and Maastricht. In addition, there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes to explore the Heuvelland.

During your stay in this spacious apartment, you will relax completely. There is room for 2 cars in the courtyard. In the shared garden is a trampoline and climbing rack. The living room has a TV, and pellet stove. Bathroom has a generous shower. The kitchen has a microwave/oven + dishwasher. The home has a double bed and a double sofa bed with comfortable topper. Ideal for long stays are the washing machine and dryer. There is air conditioning on both floors.
