Come escape to our tiny modern off grid cabin situated in the middle of our private 125 acre mountain top property which backs up to Pisgah National Forest. Wake up to soaring mountain views, hike all day on the Blue Ridge Parkway, grill out and make S'mores over the fire pit, and then roll open the glass garage door to fall asleep under the stars in a comfy bed...just 25 minutes to downtown Asheville! All well behaved dogs are welcome!
What guests are saying:“Haley's off-grid, completely secluded cabin is just as described and pictured. It was absolutely perfect! The cabin sits on top of a ridge so we had sunset views that we were able to watch from the two-person swing and sunrise views the next morning, looking out from the bed. We had perfect weather, cool summer temps and low humidity, so we were able to enjoy almost all of the special features of this lovely place. The fire pit area was nice, we cooked our dinner over the open flame and spent a large part of the night sitting around the fire. The garage door remained open with the exception of when we were asleep. Loved the open-air feel! Had it been just a bit warmer, we would have left it open all night long. The only part of the cabin we weren't able to experience was the outside shower which was a bit disappointing. Not sure if the rain water reservoir was empty or if it just wasn't working properly? Could have used the solar bag shower but I don't think that would have been the same "experience". All in all it was an amazing trip and the cabin offers so many opportunities for special memories to be made. Will definitely be back again!!”

Hike 150 yards down a flat gravel road to get to the cabin for a retreat from your normal day to day life. Disconnect and enjoy the mountain view, nature and solitude. Bring your dogs. Bring a book and lounge in the hammock. Enjoy the simpler things.

This cabin and the space is so much cooler in person, pictures don’t do it justice! The rain shower worked great (and the water was warm!), the hammock was so nice to relax and read a book in or just take in the views, the outhouse was clean, and we all didn’t want to leave. My dog was in heaven! Can’t recommend this place enough!”

Your own private hot tub under the stars. Picnic area and fire pit with free fire wood delivered upon request. Cabin is across the road and uphill from the New River. Free use of our kayaks and tubes as well-need to reserve in advance. Beautifully decorated with all new interior furnishings and appliances.

We loved everything about this stay from the copper accents to the comfy bed everything was perfect! We absolutely loved stargazing from the hot tub and sitting by the fire watching the fireflies! Per the recommendations we went to the Local Lion grabbed delicious donuts and coffee! We also explored Grandfather Vineyards it was so serene, nothing can wine, cheese, and live music. We cannot wait to be back!”
