Ideal retreat for a couple or small group.

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay at the borders of Dordogne/Haute Vienne and Charente to recharge your batteries as a couple or family. Ideal place for walking in the forest and along the river. You will find in the immediate vicinity: An international golf course (3 km), a tennis court (5 km), equestrian center 2 km away, canoeing activity 1/4 hour away (Montbron) and Lake St Mathieu or Verneuil with beach 20 km away. In the fall, lots of mushrooms for mushroom lovers!

Cerisier (2 pers cottage) - Le Moulin de Pensol

Cerisier is one of the gîtes available at Le Moulin de Pensol and is situated on the beautiful river Bandiat, in the middle of a national park in Haute Vienne. It sleeps 2 people in an upstairs bedroom with en suite bathroom. The kitchen/living room is downstairs. The gite is set in 7 Hectares of woods, fields and meadows open to guests to enjoy. Free wifi. Dogs are welcome by arrangement and for an extra charge per night. There is a small swimming pool. We are 45 minutes from Limoges.

You’ll love Chez Mondy the perfect place to relax and unwind, with breath-taking views. Conservatory Kitchen. 2 bedrooms, all rooms are independently accessed via the veranda. Suitable for couples, business travellers, families, (families with small children are advised to share family bedroom) Private Pool & Hot tub. The hot tub is open March to October or on request at The Pool opens early June to late September weather dependent. Varaignes has a chateau, Resraurant, boulangerie.

Charming little studio house.

Come and enjoy the calm of the Limousin countryside in a pleasant little studio house. The accommodation includes a kitchenette, shower room, room with a 140 bed and dining area. The small house is heated with a wood burning stove. Guests can relax on the terrace. The property has a large garden. The house is 12 km from the A20 highway and 30 minutes from Limoges. For two-wheeled travelers (bicycles, motorcycles) I have a barn to shelter them.

Ideally located in the center of Périgord and all the sites that make it rich, our house called La Cuisine d'Alice, is an old barn converted into a luxurious house. It is an outbuilding of one of the most beautiful estates in Périgord, La Chartreuse du Maine. As in the early 18th century, here everything breathes peace, harmony and beauty. It is the perfect place to recharge and radiate as you discover the beautiful Dordogne-Périgord region.

This cottage oozes simple rural French charm with modern conveniences and relaxation: a break away - privacy and tranquillity in the heart of Paradis(e). The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market. La Maison Benaise

La Maison Benaise, our bicentennial farm, welcomes guests who are mainly looking for tranquility and nature (Natura 2000 site). Guests can enjoy beautiful walks in the hilly Charente landscape. Sports enthusiasts can practice mountain biking, canoeing, swimming in the river or lakes around us or simply relax with a book and a drink on the sunny terrace. For children, our four Shetland ponies are ready for a little hug.

A stay at Le Petit Contrefort offers a taste of country life in France, set within the grounds of the owner's property, guests can enjoy the pool, gardens, views, pizza oven, and meet the various animals. We only accept Saturday to Saturday bookings during the peak July and August periods.
