Bicycle trips through the old country or a stroll through the Buxtehuder old town, which is about 1.3 km away, are possible from here at any time. Hamburg can be easily reached by S-Bahn, which is about 3 km from the apartment. From Finkenwerder, you can easily cross to the Landungsbrücken with the HVV ferry, and it is about 12 km to Finkenwerder. Shopping facilities can be reached in about 1.5 km.

Der kleine Kamin lädt bei jedem Wetter zu gemütlichen Stunden ein, während ihr durch das Panoramafenster den Blick in die Ferne schweifen lasst.

Paula vacation apartment - church tower view and close to the city

The apartment Paula is located near the old town and is ideal for starting tours into the Alte Land from here or getting to know Buxtehude better. The apartment has been newly renovated and has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher (and views of the Buxtehude church tower), a bathroom, a bedroom and a living/dining room. The house has a garage for bicycles and the car can be parked right outside the door. The apartment is on the upper floor with a steep staircase.

The daylight bathroom has a tub, shower and underfloor heating. Our beautiful accommodation is quietly located, within walking distance of the city and surrounded by nature and apple trees. Enjoy the special flair of a 200-year-old, thatched farmhouse, one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in the village. You are welcomed by a former stable, now a hall-like hall with a special atmosphere: Here you will find the small, stylish apartment, nestled in a beautiful natural ensemble. This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

Especially in the flowering season, it is ideal for extensive cycling tours along the fruit trees. The nearby Elbe also creates a maritime flair.

Idyll, Rest & Relaxation – all this offers you our sustainable & building biology shepherd's wagon. Caravan muff ade, because here it smells pleasantly of wood. Natural materials create a particularly pleasant atmosphere in which you feel at home – maybe even a little better. Cosy bunk beds, a small pantry kitchen and a table with comfortable seating for up to 4 people complete the whole. Bath, shower & toilet are accessible in the main house.

Between the orchards

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes).
