The best of both worlds, close to the city of Hamburg & Norderstedt and yet in the countryside in the middle of the meadow and surrounded by horses. Overlooking the meadows and the riding stable, the garden invites you to relax, the grill calls for a barbecue and the fireplace ensures cozy evenings. The wooden house is quite flexible and there are 2 additional sleeping places (e.g. for older children) in the alcove upstairs.

My place is 25 minutes by car south of HH Mitte, bus stop approx. 300 meters, train station 7 km (Sprötze). Outdoor swimming pool 3 km away. Toilet and shower are approx. 40 meters. Firewood, linens and towels included; kettle and 220 V available. - Unfortunately, dogs are only allowed to sleep UNDER or IN FRONT of the car! - The car is parked on the meadow on the edge of a versatile organic farm. Rade is located on the direct border to Hamburg between Nordheide and Altem Land on the southern city border to Hamburg. In 15 minutes you are in the city of Hamburg via the A1. Rade belongs to the joint municipality of Neu Wulmstorf in the district of Harburg. Rade has its own highway exit and access, so the highway exit is easy to find even for those unfamiliar with the area. The proximity to the Stuivenwald, which is partly already part of Hamburg, gives the place its rural character.

Our little apartment is placed near the famous nature reserve "Lüneburger Heath", which offers a lot of activities like hiking, biking or horse riding. Starting from here is just a stone's throw to the "Heidepark Soltau" (amusement park), Snow dome Bispingen (ski park), Wildpark Lüneburger Heide and Serengeti Park (wildlife parks), etc… Take your bike or grab your horse and conquer the area! You are welcome to bring your domestic animals with you!

Near Hamburg, in the countryside

We look forward to seeing everyone who wants to have a good time with us. Since we are quite centrally located, it is an almost optimal starting point for activities. For bikers and cyclists, we have a small workshop for maintenance. Vehicles can also be adjusted here. Drying clothes is possible in the boiler room. Skippers can park their trailers on the property. 2 trekking bikes are available for rent.

The 70 sqm apartment offers sleeping places for 6-8 people. There is a large living room with a 1.80m wide bed, two single beds, a sofa bed, a large dining table, a TV (including amazon prime video), and a separate bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher. In the bathroom with a shower and bathtub is a washing machine.
