Castle holiday rentals in Canal du Midi

Our experience at Château de Bouvées was amazing. The place is pure history, very well kept, decorated and recovered by the host, Yves. He, his family and friends were very pleasant with us (the donkeys too, hahah). The castle's location is great, it allows beautiful bike rides in the vicinity, but to go to the market and shop, a car becomes interesting. The kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever seen, where we were able to prepare our meals and have the host's great breakfast. I recommend it to everyone who can live a few days at Château de Bouvées.

Beautiful building with an undeniable and very cool character in the summer. Beautiful shaded terrain. Ideally located on the edge of Cérou, halfway between Saint Martin noble val and Cordes sur ciel. Lovely walks to do from the rental.

Great place. Atypical, beautiful and calm place. The hosts are very nice. There are also many things to do within a reasonable distance. We recommend this place!! Thanks to Frédéric and his brother.

Our stay at David's Castle was unbeatable. Views of the Tarn River, a swimming pool for barbecuing, exquisite decor and a spectacular garden. Very spacious rooms and everything you need for your stay. Alexandre looked after us, and was kind and helpful at all times. We're very grateful.

A beautiful home rich in heritage to relax for a few days. That the lounges are beautiful with their vaulted ceilings! Magazines that tell the story of the place and the owner . A kitchen available to guests to enjoy a home meal under the gazebo. We felt very good there.

Le.Chateau was the perfect place to accommodate our family reunion of 12, including 5 kids. We loved the atmosphere, facilities and location. It's authentic:) We are already planning to book it again next year over the same time!

We felt right at home and warmly welcome at Marianne’s place. We, and the kids had the best time in the beautiful garden - breakfast and Dinners with this spectacular view will stay in our memories forever. Marianne took great care for little details - a bottle of Wine was a great welcome gift after a long travel day. She was always responsive for any questions we had. We can totally recommend this place, the beautiful indoor and outdoor space are exactly like on the pictures- even better! Pleasant stay with our friends , the shared breakfasts allowed us to get together. For our part, the room is very nice, however, in the bathroom, just a bathtub, difficult to take a shower because the water flow is really too low .

Spacious, atmospheric property in lovely, friendly village. It sits high up in the village but it is only a 5 minute walk down the hill to the village store. The shop has a really friendly owner who organised us a wonderful wine tasting with charcuterie and cheese. He sells a wide variety of products and has a really good wine cellar of local wines. He also does takeaway pizza on Fridays and Saturdays. The local hotel has a restaurant and supplied us with a takeaway cassoulet. The chateau is well equipped and spacious. Only one room has a shower but all the rest have a roll top bath with shower fitting. The village itself is well situated to explore a number of vineyards and nearby towns and the roads were very quiet.

nice experience at Amelie's... it's not often that we have the opportunity to sleep in a place full of history... The decor is neat and the castle is perfect for a group of 8 people! Thank you Amelie and Jacqueline for your warm welcome and your small touches that were well appreciated! I recommend without hesitation!

If you love old stones and you are looking for a peaceful place typical of the region with a beautiful private garden, close to Nîmes and Arles, able to easily accommodate 8 people, we recommend this accommodation, really very comfortable and carefully renovated. It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

Charming residence whatever the interiors are little dated but with a garden and a breathtaking view. I rented the property for a birthday with about thirty guests and was fully satisfied with the rental and we were able to feast and enjoy the outdoor spaces without being disturbed. I recommend the property if one has a taste for the old and the vintage. Host was welcoming and available.
