Camp Canon - Primitive, Yet Comfortable

This campsite is created and dedicated to my beloved yellow lab, Canon (2006-2022) It was one of his favorite areas. It’s a peaceful area tucked away at the bottom of a cliff line with stack stone walls well over 200 years old. We live on site and have a “free range” pup Be ready to expect Roxxie anytime. She might bark at first but just say “Hi Roxxie!” And she’ll smile and come wagging her tail for pets and cuddles if you let her. There is no running water, hence the "primitive" title!

Hemlock Camp

We call it... “Camping”. It’s this new thing - where you leave the machinations of the urban world behind and retreat to the calming surrounds of nature. (To some extent. But you still get to sleep in a comfy bed.) 1/4 mile trek. A footbridge over a winding stream, a fire-pit, a hammock, Adirondack chairs and a quiet world beneath the hemlocks will be your immediate surroundings. No electricity. No running water. You are alone - surrounded by hundreds of acres of private, wild forest.

Glamping in the Heart of the Catskills (#1)

One of 3 tents located around an ephemeral pond in the mountains, this site offers unparalleled tranquility and access to nature. The site is roughly 10 minutes from the towns of Phoenicia and Tannersville and 30 minutes to Woodstock - with tons of hikes, restaurants, and breweries nearby. The property is surrounded by protected wilderness, and refreshing streams where you can take a dip! Each tent is equipped with a queen-sized bed and fresh sheets and pillows provided for each stay.

This is a camping site where you bring & pitch your own tent. We offer 9 luxury cabins you could also rent that are all-season cabins. At the edge of a wildflower meadow with mountain views, this beautifully furnished glamping tent has a king-size water bed, sofa and private deck. Each tent has a kitchenette in the Lodge. There is a lovely Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights in the summer) and our wood hot tub ($25 for a private experience). 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Nightly bonfires, star gazing, a nearby lake and rafting in the Hudson River below.
