We stayed at this property for a week as a family. It is large, rustic house with many bedrooms and cozy flair through the wood stove. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking for many people. The living area has a small couch for 2-3 people, so as a large group you are more likely to stay at the dining table. For children, the farm is an absolute dream, as there is a lot to discover, an old barn with hay balls, cats, chickens and a former cowshed. There are many hiking trails in the area, right next door is a forest. Highly recommended accommodation for families with children seeking tranquility and relaxation.

Staying in this house was just amazing. It's much nicer in reality than the pictures. Especially the large windows make the stay so special – be it at breakfast overlooking the countryside or in the evening cozy on the couch in front of the fireplace. The house is superbly equipped – not only with all the kitchen utensils and machines you need, but also with many practical things like salt, oil, pepper, dishwasher tablets or washing powder and much more. This makes the stay pleasantly uncomplicated. The communication with Jaap was always warm, quick and very attentive. You can tell that he really cares about making his guests feel comfortable – thank you for that. A special extra: the pool is currently being completely redone. If you arrive in summer, you can look forward to a completely new, beautiful pool. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back.

Great spacious home. We had enough space with 6 people. Also the terrace and the fenced in garden are great! Location is perfect for hiking. Especially with children, there are many amazing opportunities for hikes and excursions! We had a great vacation and felt very comfortable! Thank you!!

The place was absolutely stunning—even better than the pictures—with breathtaking views, a jacuzzi and sauna that made the experience extra special, and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for unwinding. The apartment was super clean, beautifully designed, and well-maintained. The hosts, who live in the upper apartment, were amazingly kind and helpful—always available when needed but never intrusive. They even gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The next towns, with grocery stores and dining options, are just a 10-minute drive away, making everything easily accessible. We 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The combination of stunning nature, thoughtful hospitality, and top-notch amenities made it an experience we can’t wait to repeat!

We stayed with Melanie for the long weekend Wednesday through Sunday The check in via the key box was flawless and so we were totally flexible with check-in and check-out. She had described everything wonderfully in advance and was always available via chat . The apartment was as described and the parking space directly in front of the apartment is also top. The city is a bit far on foot, but already doable by car. As a starting point to explore the whole lake, the very quiet residential area was optimal. We would come back!

Very nice apartment surrounded directly by mountains and hiking trails. In the small village you can also go out for great food or take the panoramic train to surrounding hiking trails in the mountains.

There were four of us for a week. The apartment is a real dream and left nothing to be desired. Extremely high-quality and new furnishings, a fantastic roof terrace, spacious and bright-friendly design made us feel right at home. The location is great, located in the middle of the city directly on the Drava and in the old town. Communication was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The kitchen is state-of-the-art, fully equipped and prepared for every conceivable possibility. If you are looking for an unforgettable stay in Villach, this is the place to be. We can recommend this place without reservation.

🇭🇺 The apartment is located on the outskirts of Klagenfurt, relatively close to the lake. You can walk to the lake in 15-20 minutes. Downtown is 5-10 minutes by car, downtown paid parking can be avoided with blue zone - 3 hours free - with parking spaces. Worth that few minutes walk :) The botanical garden offers more attractions in the summer, the downtown is cozy, you can walk in a few hours. Our favorite was the lakefront, where we came back several times. The viewpoint for a half-hour drive offers a wonderful panorama. The place was a 10/10. Gerda was very helpful, the apartment had everything we needed for a few days. 🇬🇧The apartment was in the suburb of Klagenfurt. From the apartment the lake was 15-20 min walk. The city center was 5-10 min by car. We loved to take walks to the lake. By car there is a lookout around 30 min. The apartment was 10/10. Gerda was very kind and helpful. The apartment has everything that you need in a cupple of days. I do recomend to stay here if you visit the

What an amazing spot! Great views, the landscaping and green grass allowed us to sit and picnic or hang throughout the day. Very close to Klagenfurt- stayed here for the Ironman. Would 10/10 recommend!! Thanks for hosting :)

We loved our stay here, as a family of 3, for a long weekend of skiing. The apartment is just the right size, with a breathtaking view. Close to the slopes and several restaurants. A huge bonus are the Spa + pool + kids pool at the Falkensteiner hotel that is connected to the building.

Nice stay, very nice hostess! Apartment cozy and stylishly furnished, apartment also very centrally located. However, the apartment is not barrier-free (there are some stairs up to the bedroom) and the third sleeping place could be a little narrow and/or too short for larger people. But everything worked out for us :) Thank you, we will be happy to come back!

The apartment was great for two people. More people can be accommodated, but then it becomes a bit scarce. So we had enough space on the terrace with a great view of the Karawanken and the numerous paragliders. The location on the slope is of course accompanied by a corresponding drive from the valley. It takes about 15-20 minutes to make it from/to the apartment. You just have to plan that on excursions, but it's definitely worth it. At the time of our trip in August, it was very quiet. There were hardly any neighbors and you could spend lazy days on the terrace without being disturbed. It was always about 6 degrees cooler at the apartment than in the valley. With sultry 32° on Lake Ossiach, this is really a nice thing.
