Carmarthen Town

This cosy, clean recently refurbished house is nestled in the market town of Carmarthen. Carmarthen is steeped in history and claims to be the oldest town in Wales. A 5 minute walk down hill will find you in the town centre where there are plenty of places to eat and relax. Take a leisurely stroll down the river Towy or visit the array of shops from local market stalls to high street outlets. By car we are only 10 mins from National Botanic Garden of Wales and around 30 min from the beautiful sea side town of Tenby. Located on a residential street, and although no allocated parking there is always room to park directly outside on the not so busy road. As you walk through the front door; to your left is the spacious kitchen with dining table, easily seating four people. There’s an electric fan oven and hob, fridge freezer and washing machine. Coffee machine, toaster and kettle. We have included everything you would need if you were staying two nights or longer. The living room is a comfortable and pleasant space to relax in, with a 40” smart flat screen tv. Stairs from the living room lead to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The larger bedroom is a very spacious modern space with a double bed, open wardrobe and mirror on the wall. Plenty of room for any additional items such as a cot, even an extra person if arranged! The second bedroom is made up as a twin, again modern and with a cosy feel. Includes open wardrobe and mirror on wall. We also have super fast fibre optic broadband.

The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are dog friendly and are happy to welcome up to two well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle & explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's & is a traditional, stone cottage.
