Hut holiday rentals in Carmarthenshire

We loved our stay, thank you! We wanted a quiet and relaxing way to ring in the New Year after a busy Christmas, and this was perfect. The cabin was cosy and warm, even during 50mph winds!

Absolutely loved our stay in this quirky little place. It was nestled in beautiful surroundings in a quiet peaceful location. What can be better than waking up from an extremely comfy bed to the sound of the river and the birds singing ! Everything you could ever need was right there in the cabin .. nothing was missing ! We spent our days visiting Aberporth, Camarthen and Cardigan with there vast array of shops and beaches. Then our nights were spent snuggled up in front of the cosy log burner listening to smooth FM on the little radio. We were here for New Year's Eve and couldn't think of a better place to be ! Would definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed !

We had a magical stay with our six year old. Sharon was fantastic. Highly recommend, the Gypsy wagons are beautiful. There is a hot shower & a compost toilet, both has been decorated and made very user friendly. The summer house has everything you need. Kettle, toaster, small fridge freezer.

A wonderful place to stay, lovely woodland sounds woth the river nearby, with pur own private space. Great communication from the minute i enquired about having a longer check out time to the time we arrived. I had passed the house with the name on, so pulled just inside the drive way, within 2 minutes i had a call asking if i was on the drive! We knew we could contact if we needed to, but were left to enjoy our time in the hut! I felt a little cool in the evening prior to lighting the burner, the pre loaded log burner was so welcome as it saved me faffing about with twiggs etc! It sure dies heat up quick and stayed toasty for sometime, infact, we did have to open the window alittle too..lol! The blow heater also heated it perfectly in the morning so i could get dressed. It was a perfect night away for our anniversary, Thank you so much.

I must start by saying, of all the Airbnb’s my partner and I have stayed in…Chris’s Sheperds hut was by far the best! From the minute we arrived we were greeted by the most amazing host who went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. Chris is such a genuine, sincere person who is very passionate about his hut and making his guests feel at home, is at the forefront of his mind. The hut was even better than the pictures, it was beautifully decorated and the cosiest place we’ve stayed in. The bed was the comfiest and stargazing on the patio at night time was just lush! Chris has thought of everything when it comes to the hut and even brought us fresh duck eggs, Welsh cakes and wine to welcome us. He recommended some beautiful places to visit and we’re so glad we went to them- (so close too!) Chris was super flexible on check in times and nothing was too much. We’re already looking to return in May and can’t wait to visit the hut again and of course Chris! Thank you ☺️

I stayed one night in the Blackberry shepherds hut very last minute last Sunday as I wanted to escape the city! I was absolutely not disappointed in fact I was blown away. Check in was super easy and friendly with lots of recommendations and when I got to the hut itself it was even better than I imagined. The views were incredible made better by the glorious weather we’ve been having. I stayed local and made full use of the hot tub and surroundings. By the time I left on the Monday I was so relaxed and revitalised it was just what I needed. My little frenchie betty loved it too! Ginnie and Andrew were perfect hosts, knowing they were close but feeling so secluded was just what I needed. This will definitely be my go to place when I need to escape and have some time to recharge! Thank you!

We cannot recommend this place enough, it was everything we hoped for and more. Simon was an incredibly friendly host giving us all the information we needed to arrive and was very flexible with check in and checkout times. Whilst there, he was really responsive and had lots of great recommendations. We really could feel the effort Simon and Linda have put into this place and we felt really at home as soon as we arrived. The hut itself was perfect - with all the amenities you could need including a very comfy bed where you could lay & see the stunning & peaceful surroundings. There is a nice porch to sit outside while still being undercover & the grounds had benches, hammocks and a fire pit to enjoy the surroundings in. Sitting in the log fired hot tub in a morning listening to the birds was incredibly relaxing. And at night looking up at the starry sky was a very special experience. The location is great too, with easy to beaches south and Brecons north via easy acces to the A40.

Lovely little home in a beautiful part of the county. Very secluded and private, with only the occasional “moo” to break the silence. Great base for hiking, with the hot tub being welcome relief after a windy and/or wet trek.! Never used an air fryer before, but that was a great addition! Thank you for a wonderful stay! (Sorry again about the swing..! 😆)

You have a real piece of heaven here. We absolutely loved our stay at Ruby 's fields. A gorgeous, peaceful setting amongst the Welsh farm lands. With views for miles! Annabel and Egan are wonderful hosts and made us all feel at home! The children have absolutely loved the swimming pool and playing with Hamish the dog. I couldn't fault our accommodations, everything we needed had been thought about. Even down to some handmade Happy Birthday bunting waiting on arrival, after I had mentioned we were celebrating our daughters birthday whilst staying. We will definitely be back to see you again! Our stay at Head for the Hills Glamping Caravan was absolutely wonderful. The caravan was exactly as described, with spotless interiors and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and flexible, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway, and at a very fair price. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return!

Absolutely beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here (as did our dog.) It was very private and peaceful and secure with spacious land for our dog. Very relaxing and the location is so picturesque. Hosts were very quick to respond when making contact. We cannot wait to visit here again. 🙂
