The lounge area has a comfortable sofa with fiber television (French), Netfilx, Disney and DVD player. Just off the lounge you will find a balcony with views over the gardens, swimming pool and distant Pyrenees - the perfect place to relax. Malepère has one generous size double bedroom up a small flight of stairs.

The cottage has stunning views of the Pyrenees mountain range as well as Carcassonne and its Citadel. A large shaded stone terrace will allow you to enjoy this exceptional setting throughout your stay. From the site, several hiking trails are immediately accessible. Lac des Montagnes is less than a 15-minute drive away.

The gite adjoins our house and is situated in a green setting at the foot of the Montagne Noire, just outside a pretty Cathar village. In addition to a large landscaped garden, there is a secure parking space. This 35m2 gîte comprises a lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The flat has its own entrance leading onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The gîte stays cool in summer thanks to the vegetation.
