Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Castelo Branco District

Our group of 13 had an incredible time at this lakeside house! The accommodations were super comfortable, providing ample space for all of us. The highlight was definitely the fantastic outdoor area, perfect for group gatherings and relaxation. Nuno, the host, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We took advantage of the boat rental for water sports like skiing, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing, and it was an absolute blast. Nuno's expertise and equipment made it all possible, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a lakeside retreat with a fantastic host and plenty of fun activities, this is the place to be. Our group had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to come back for more adventures by the lake!

The stay was extremely invigorating. I strongly advise anyone who wants to leave the daily stress of everyday life. It's great to rest but at the same time there is a lot to do, it was from the stays I've been where the availability of fun and the entertainment options are huge. Andy and Bruno are very available and friendly people, thank you for everything. There is a suggestion for improvement, the check-out could be around 11 am gives families the possibility to have breakfast smoothly and arrange the exit better. In short, we will return for sure. The big hug for Andy and Bruno.

We had a fantastic time and everything was pretty perfect. Paolo was very accommodating super responsive and everything was as expected. The views from the house are beautiful. We were only there for a couple of days, but you would probably want a bit longer to really explore everything in the area. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at anywhere in the world. Incredible views and so peaceful that you may not want to leave the property. Our family of 5 paddleboarded on the river and spent a lot of time in the huge pool. We walked with the goats and chickens and had several meaningful exchanges with Peter, who is a special guy and has a lot of insight on the area and it's history. There are pre-Roman and Roman era stone structures and ruins scattered around and loads of wildlife. The place itself was charming and very comfortable and had everything we needed for an amazing stay.

Originally we were planning to go to Boom festival and were looking to rent a house nearby. It turned out that the house was much better than the festival. The property is authentic and beautiful. The house is full of history and every detail is so special. We really enjoyed our time inside and outside on the patio by the swimming pool. The kids were absolutely happy there! The kitchen is so well equipped. The living room area is stunning. The bedrooms are super comfy and the air conditioner did its job providing a refreshing coolness. Highly recommend to everyone! This listing is in a solid stone house built in the 1930’s which has been fully renovated to a high standard. There is lots of space with a functional kitchen, living/dining area and washroom on the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms each with ensuite shower and washroom. The town is quiet, but located close to places with restaurant options and located within easy driving of sites like the hilltop town of Monsanto, and thermal spas. A perfect base for exploring the region.

Lovely overnight stay here at 9 Arches, only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Silvia is a wonderful host who has perfected the art of being friendly and warm but giving you privacy. Her home is AMAZING, it has everything you could need for a brilliant getaway, the pool is great! Phenomenal option for a big family or group holiday. Highly recommend!

Great stay near Castêlo Branco in one of the most quiet spaces I ever was in! If you love to just relax and hear the nature, it’s the perfect spot!
