Barn holiday rentals in Central Germany

One hundred percent recommended, very nice nature reserve adjacent to hiking, quaint pub on the Anger next door, very well suited accommodation for 5 people with every comfort.

We stayed with Marie for a weekend with my parents and our baby to visit the family in Berlin. The apartment was a great fit for us and we would stay there again at any time.

The three of us spent 6 nights at Svenja's in Bohndorf. If you appreciate silence and lots of greenery, this is the place to be. The apartment was perfectly divided for us, especially the large bathroom with the wide skylight in the pure greenery I really loved. You can park right in front of the house. We did some bike rides along the Elbe and Ilmenau, of course also to beautiful Lüneburg. If you come home in the evening and are enveloped right at the entrance by the scent of the natural healing practice Kudra, you are immediately relaxed. Bohndorf is a very small, idyllic place where you feel a bit like in another world, far away from negative influences. If you have enough of it, you can also reach Lüneburg in 20 minutes by car. We did not meet Svenja, but she probably lives nearby. We highly recommend the place!

We were very warmly welcomed by Hans and felt very comfortable from the beginning in the beautiful and cozy house on the lake. We particularly liked the swimming and paddling on the clear Kalksee, relaxing in the beautiful & quiet garden and hiking in the middle of untouched nature. The showering in the bathhouse was pleasant and also the heating with the wood stove worked out well and contributed to the coziness especially in the evening. Hans and Maria were very helpful and available at any time. Sincere thanks for the great time in your really very nice idyll!

Our stay at the place was just wonderful! The apartment was very clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Wow, the cottage is even more cozy and chic than on the pictures. We had a great co-hosting week staying here with friends and had a great time. The internet was sufficiently fast, the oven was super pleasant, everything was sparkling clean, the heath for walks with the dogs is within walking distance, we lacked nothing. Highly recommended!

Very nice and cozy small house (former stable), with everything you need and tastefully furnished. My cat Bender fell in love with the underfloor heating:) The kitchen is very well equipped. The area is very quiet, with lots of beautiful hiking trails. Unfortunately we did not meet Charles this time, but communication with him was very friendly, straightforward and quick. Charles is very flexible and also cat friendly:) We will be happy to come back! Thank you, Charles!

We stayed three nights in beautiful Wendland & were directly impressed by the surroundings (the roundlings somehow have something magical) and the super nice property. The place itself is totally beautiful and you can tell that someone from the compartment & with a heart at work. The small old stable is well thought out, super equipped and simply aesthetically beautiful, without losing the character. If we were to come back in spring or summer, we would definitely take our bikes with us to discover the area even better, but we were able to enjoy the full tranquility in February — that's how it was. :-) We would definitely recommend Astrid's place: a special & particularly beautiful place!

A beautiful place in the middle of the nature. At the beginning it was a bit fresh because the wood stove took some time but then it was very cozy and warm. The furnishings are of very high quality. Everything was super clean and maintained. The view from bed into the countryside in the morning and to the horses is priceless. Highly recommended for a relaxing short trip away from the city and the hustle and bustle. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time at Anja's place. It is a sweet enthusiast who knows a lot and likes to tell more. The beautiful cottage and the animals complete the stay:)

We spent our family weekend with 15 people in the house. Everything was lovingly prepared. The kitchen is very well equipped and the group rooms invite you to sit together comfortably. With foosball and ping pong table, there are great opportunities to pass the time. The rooms as well as the bathrooms were very clean. The communication with Andrea went great and we were even able to check out later on the day of departure. Thank you for the hospitality! We felt very comfortable.

If you are traveling with a pet, this is the place for you.

SOHL Farm is a special place and Livia, Johannes and their cat Tiger are welcoming and very friendly hosts. Everything on their property is spotless and in excellent condition, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a great place to enjoy pure nature and silence. At first I found it a bit scary at night to stay alone in the Wagon and walk over to the bathroom in the dark. But Livia and Johannes were very understanding and supportive which helped a lot. I was happy that I could also bring my cat Lilly. She enjoyed our stay so much. In the end she hid under the bed and did not want to go home. For pet owners it’s the perfect place to stay.

We spent 3 days as a small group in the very nice house of Ariane and Roman. The house is stylish and well equipped, we didn't lack anything. Right next door there is also a beautiful inn to stop in after an extended hike in the mountains. Communication with Ariane was completely straightforward and fast. Thanks for the wonderful time!

We had a very nice weekend at Carola's place. Check-in & out were super straightforward, the apartment is very cozy and tastefully decorated with everything we needed to feel comfortable, relax and cook. Thank you for everything, we will be happy to come back!

Beautiful duplex apartment in an old half-timbered house with cute garden. Oda has created a little paradise in the middle of the village. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

We did a leadership offsite in the water mill and couldn't have had a better location for it. The communication was also very fast and binding - we will definitely be back and looking forward to further encounters with this wonderful place

The apartment in the old farmhouse is really nice, with old furniture, good amenities, beautiful half-timbered. The hosts even set the heating differently for us, so we felt really comfortable. And on New Year's Eve there was a sparkling wine. Great hospitality. Thank you!

We spent New Year's Eve on the farm with a group of 12 people and had a very nice time. The individual apartments are great and the large living room was a great place to get together. Teresa has responded flexibly to the special requests of our group.
