Haus Iris is an independent small terraced house on two floors with its own entrance. Downstairs are the bathroom, the kitchen-living room and the living room with access to the covered terrace. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: The large one with a double bed, the small one with two single beds. As is customary in vacation homes, duvet covers and towels are not included in the price, but can be provided for €7.50 per person per week. A Tesla charging station is 5 km away on the highway.

The house is the starting point for almost all the attractions of the Harz, e.g. Torfhaus/Schierke for a Brocken hike, the Wurmberg in Braunlage, the summer toboggan run in St. Andeasberg, stalactite caves, mines, shopping in Goslar and of course lots of hiking/skiing/cross-country routes in/around/on lakes and mountains and much more.

Apartment 2 on the Harz in beautiful nature

The apartment is on the upper floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. There is enough space on the 2 floors! Even 2 people feel good and secure on 1 floor with the beautiful living and living room! The apartment is built and designed with natural building materials, such as wood, clay and eco-paint. The apartment is rather unsuitable for children for safety reasons. Also for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Vacation home "Chestnut" with balcony

The apartment has 2.5 rooms, is about 60 square meters and can accommodate up to 3 people who like open, bright living. The built-in kitchen is brand new. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub and invites you to relax after a day of hiking or skiing. A highlight is the balcony. You look at the chestnut avenue that gave the apartment its name.

At the edge of the Breitenberg forest, near the historic Winuwuk café, this apartment is a beautiful starting point for hikes around Bad Harzburg, across the idyllically located racecourse to Goslar, or over the Käste cliff to the Romkehaller waterfall. Here you have space for two small families, or the grandparents can come along.

In a relaxed private atmosphere, we offer a cozy 75 m² apartment on the 2nd floor of our house, (separate entrance) with large living-dining area and balcony, large bedroom also with balcony, 2 additional bedrooms with single beds and small bathroom with tub. So you can comfortably stay in a total of 3 bedrooms with 4 people.

Welcome to our "Fleet Rabbit" in the mountain town of Bad Grund! You will find a spacious apartment in the attic of a half-timbered house in the middle of the historic town centre. Bikers are welcome and can park their bikes in a covered, enclosed yard behind the house.
