We had a quick night of sleep at Richard’s while traveling. It was extremely quiet, with beautiful country surroundings. The place was spotless. It would probably be a great area for a romantic getaway. As shown in photos!

This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

Great historic place with great new updates. Everything works well: bathroom, AC, kitchen and host provide many extra amenities to feel welcome. Easy walk to downtown.

This is a super cute, spacious spot that is conveniently located to our favorite Floyd shops and restaurants.

The house was very comfortable for our family and dog. It has been hard to find a house in the area that we found worth the money but we loved this one and would definitely stay here again if we are back to Roanoke.

We travel through this part of Virginia a couple of times a year, and we were very pleased to find Jane’s house near Fancy Gap and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location is great, and the house is extremely comfortable. Felt right at home. The porches in both the front and back offer gorgeous views of the area. The place is very pet friendly. There is a huge backyard with a large, very secure fence. Our dog just loved running free in his own little dog park. The front porch is also secured so your pup can join you for beautiful sunsets. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling with or without your pet. Jane is a very friendly and responsive host who provides detailed instructions for your stay. We hope to come back real soon. 5 stars for sure!

We enjoyed sitting on the porch, walking the neighborhood, eating at the Palisades, and relaxing in a cozy house. Great staycation.

Hokies Haven was great! It was exactly what we had hoped for. The newer townhome was clean with plenty of room both on the first floor living area as well as in the bedrooms. The additional space downstairs is a plus too. Kelly is a friendly, responsive host always willing to fill you in or answer your questions. Being so close to VT, as well as it being dog friendly, were definitely two additional features that made this place so special!

Park Place was exactly what I needed--a reasonably priced, pet friendly place near the VA NC border. It was not far off the Interstate and was easy to find. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed and more (snacks, toiletries). It was also very quiet--no Interstate traffic noise. I drive to NC via this route often and will stay here again.

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

The home was much more than I expected. My host was super.

This spot was perfect for our trip to visit VT and other nearby colleges. We had a home base, could easily find nearby dog sitters for our pup, and we found the restaurants and stores that we needed nearby. Kate and her team were helpful and responsive whenever we had questions.

We highly recommend this place! We especially appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen, the super interesting architecture and interior design, the many comfortable seating options, and the gorgeous natural surroundings.

Perfect family setting! beautiful home! Amazing amenities and a porch meant for sitting! The yard is nicely cleaned and fenced in so little ones and Dogs are safe while enjoying the great outdoors! There's even a Poo Station! The home is well appointed with all of the things that you need for your stay! Nice big couch, recliner, bar stools for the extremely nice kitchen, and a butcher block table to die for! The appliances are up to date, plenty of refrigerator space, and a full range with oven and over the top microwave with a true pass through exhaust fan! The mattresses are medium to firm, and comfortable as they get! Parking is abundant and super convenient to the side deck for loading and unloading! The place is a Hidden Treasure in Southern West Virginia!!!!

Cottage at Bear Den is our “home” of choice when visiting Hillsville. It’s so cozy and welcoming with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the deer grazing in the back yard and were visited by some turkeys. And did I mention the comfortable beds and linens!

Carey's cabin was exactly what my family needed after long hours in the car and stressful business engagement .It was perfectly located just a short drive from Winston Salem and between two of the most beautiful State Parks which we are able to explore. My children loved playing the board games provided, roasting smores under the stars and waking up to deer crossing the property and a spectacular sunrise. The cabin itself is filled with the warmth of the hands that made it,we are thankful that we were blessed with an opportunity to share a few days in her special place !

Pans place was perfect. Couldn't have picked a perfect location for what we were there for. So Peaceful.

The accessibility ramp to the beautifully landscaped house was a huge help to my Mother who uses a walker. The bathroom isn't next to the bedroom so it was a little bit of a walk for her but it was big and had a handrail at the toilet which really helped her. The house was big enough for us and had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed celebrating Easter weekend with meals and board games at the big kitchen table. Also everything we needed for food preparation and serving was there with a good sized refrigerator for storing leftovers. The beautiful yard was great for an egg hunt and corn hole games, which we brought with us. At night it was nice to sit at the firepit roasting s'mores or just looking at the stars.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth’s apartment. It was ready upon arrival and it was easy to locate. While it doesn’t have a full kitchen, there is a full fridge, air fryer, toaster oven and hot plate, so it was very well-appointed for cooking if you so desire. She left some yummy treats and water for us. We would definitely stay again when visiting our son at Virginia Tech, which was an easy 5 minute drive.

We had an excellent time at this place. The cabin is extremely private and quiet and our pups had a wonderful time.
