Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Danube River

WOW! When we saw the photos of the property during the book, we wondered if reality could catch up with us sobering. But the opposite occurred: It's even nicer on site than in the photos. You can easily check into a feel-good oasis. A warm feeling of home with clean character at the same time, a perfect mix. For me personally, it was a first holiday that was supposed to have a real relaxation frame and had a big share of success in the great Casa. Fireplace set at the touch of a button, leisurely hours on the window sill overlooking the distance and the cable car, then a sauna with mountain panorama and before going to bed - by the way in a great bed - a swimming pool stay. What more could you ask for (or even a woman)? The kitchen offers all the options to take care of yourself. Our dog also felt "bully"comfortable and enjoyed the long walks that are offered around the chalets. Great!!!

We 2024/2025 between the years for a week with two families (4 adults 5 children) in the chalet in Annaberg. The chalet is in a great location, right on the ski slope and also easily accessible. The kitchen was really fully equipped. We didn't miss anything. The chalet itself is beautifully built, well equipped and offers a great view of the surrounding mountains. We felt very comfortable there. Unfortunately, someone had probably smoked in the chalet before (it's actually not allowed), which is why it smelled of cold smoke in the basement. The landlord quickly tried to help with a room fragrance, but unfortunately this only reduced the symptom. But as a landlord you don't get into that and we were grateful for the help offered.

The place is exactly what you expect from pictures - we were 2 families and had plenty of both privacy and shared space to spend time together. Apart from the fact the house was rather cold upon our arrival (the heating didn't yet heat the cold building), everything was perfect, and both Sandra and Edith (the hosts) did their best to make us feel welcome and comfy. Sandra was always ready to answer our questions and gave us local tips, too. Edith even brought us homemade cake .. simply sweet. The place is perfect for a winter retreat - cca 20 mins to Katschberg for good skiing, snow tubing hill just a few hundred meters from the house, and a safe garden behind the house. It is also well-accessible, even in snowy conditions. As soon as the house got warm, we never wanted to leave .. and the sauna after the day on the slopes was a treat .. :) Overall, we can only recommend this place, and we thank you, Sandra and Edith, once again! I hope to be back :)

We stayed with Stuart for the second time and felt right at home! It's really great to have Stuart as a host, he is easily accessible, always nice and helpful :). You have the whole house to yourself, which is a great luxury and we always enjoy very much! In Kaprun you can walk to everything from the house, but at the same time you have your peace and quiet to relax superbly. We will definitely come back several times to be Stuart's guests:)!

Superb housing in a very convenient location, with an incredible view of the mountains. The house was spotless, perfectly prepared when we arrived, and very well maintained. Everything was in line with the description. Communication with Julian was very smooth and efficient; everybody was very helpful. We can only recommend it.

We had a wonderful weekend at Arno's place in St. Johann! Check-in and communication were totally straightforward. The apartment was clean and exactly as written. Arno gave us good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Chesa Paulina. On one side, the house is beautifully historical (we even decided to skip visiting Museum Engiadinais that demonstrates historic house interiors, since we lived in one :) ), on the other side, all amenities are modern and there is everything you need. The house was very clean and well organized. With regard to the surroundings, the playground was a blast with our kids, and Zuoz is one of the most beautiful and historic towns in Engadin. At the same time, Volg (grocery store) on the main square is open 7 days a week and is only a 2 minute walk from the house. We did many day trips using the train into the surrounding towns for various activities (trails, horse riding, going up Diavolezza with the cable car, strolling along the St Moritz lake), which was very convenient as well. And one can watch beautiful nature, houses and farms out of the train window. All in all, this was a great vacation and I highly recommend Priscilla's house!

We had a wonderful stay at Landhaus Bambi!! Tanya is a very nice host and the apartment is really nice, insanely cozy and very quiet. We felt immediately comfortable and will recommend it with complete conviction! This apartment would always be our first choice in Ellmau. It couldn't be better! A heartfelt thank you to Tanya!!!

5-star apartment! Excellent cleanliness, high-quality furnishings and very refined. Comfortable beds, double pillows in the master bedroom. Nice exposed bathtub. Perfect shower in second bathroom Upon entering, you immediately have the feeling of a cozy environment and with a scent of freshness that has made our return from the skis always pleasant. Nothing was missing in the kitchen. We found a bottle of Pejo water and pods for the Nespresso coffee machine. Gentle and always available owners The spa is brand new and equipped with every comfort! I recommend this place to those who love tranquility, cleanliness, well-kept environments, beautiful views and comfort

We stayed in Juliet's accommodation for less than a week and felt very comfortable. Cozy atmosphere, clean, and a dream area. Ideal for relaxing and unwinding. So an absolute recommendation also with children !

The most beautiful apartment, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. It feels like a real Swiss log cabin with an open fire & lovely wooden furniture. The cosy yet open plan living area I loved. The secret room is such a fun touch (didn’t find it straight away, which made it even more fun). Great location for me, as close to family and 1minute from the Wynegg. A very comfy bed with feathered duvet & pillows and the apartment was always the perfect temperature and warm. The apartment has everything you need and more, adaptors, board games, fully stocked kitchen and a coffee machine. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful and made the stay really simple and easy for me. I will definitely be back and so will my family.

The accommodation is in an area with beautiful mountain scenery. The room was beautifully clean and heated to a comfortable temperature. The host was very helpful when we chose the wrong path to guide us to a different one :) We were missing just a microwave in the room, which was mentioned in the listing because we are traveling with a small child and we need to warm something up sometimes, but we made do with the stove.

We spent 7 fun for three days in Sonnehüüsli. Unfortunately, the winter season had already ended a week before due to lack of snow. The stay was homely and the apartment offered everything we needed with beautiful views. Thanks to Nina and Thomas

What an amazing time at Rok’s cottage. This was one of the best experiences from the start and communication with Rok to the actual stay. The cottage had everything we needed and was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast provided and the sauna were great bonuses. The restaurant nearby was also very good. If you have the chance, book this experience. You won’t be disappointed.

A truly beautiful location. Close to the lift and restaurants of piste 85 (Alpe Cermis), yet very quiet and private. The view of the valley is breathtaking, the terrace full of sun. And you can ski directly there on your skis. The communication is very friendly and attentive. Allessandro is very helpful. The house itself is clean, but slightly old-fashioned in terms of bathroom and kitchen (see photo's). We think this Chalet has an excellent price/quality balance and can highly recommend the Chalet. Tips for your stay: - Online you can buy tickets with a 10% discount. - The slope is for a novice to intermediate skier. Try the 75,88,76,84,74,87 (long + descend 1400 meters (!)). - A day trip to Latemar is definitely worth it (but much busier) - The ski rental near the chalet is much friendlier and cheaper than the one downstairs (+10% discount). - Try Tiramisu at Baita Tonda and fresh pizza at Eurotel Hotel. We would for sure recommend the Chalet!

It's just a business to get there in winter, but once you get inside, you immediately forgot: the view, the luxury of the sleigh and ski slope right next to the door, the magical silence that falls over the mountain in the evening, the darkness, the first descent on a still empty ski slope, the coziness of the house, the nice kitchen.... Thank you Iris and Sami for your help with arrival! We'd love to come back sometime.

We felt very comfortable! The location is fantastic. Lucia was very helpful. We would love to come again right away.

We spent a few nice days in Monika's cabin as a family with 3 children. The cabin is super cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, firewood is more than sufficiently available. It is quiet and there are numerous hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. The view is fantastic. If you don't want to cook for yourself, there is Gasthaus Tauernwirt in the next village (3 minutes by car). Highly recommend. The nearest larger town Trieben is 15 minutes drive (bakery, super, etc.). We can highly recommend the cabin!

Very nice chalet in the bird ski resort. We spent 3 great days here and enjoyed the mountains. Fie hosts were very helpful

Andreas' cottage is cozy and lovingly furnished. During a one-week stay, we didn't miss anything. Self-catering is possible in the fully equipped kitchen, but it is also easy to dine at the managed huts. The arrival is explained in detail by Andrea and the walk in winter takes about 15 minutes with luggage. Everything is as described and in the photos. We had a wonderful time. A heartfelt thank you to the hostess!
