Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Danube River

WOW! Als wir während des Buchens die Fotos der Unterkunft sahen, fragten wir uns, ob die Realität uns ernüchternd einholen könnte. Aber das Gegenteil trat ein: Vor Ort ist es noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Man checkt unkompliziert in eine Wohlfühloase ein. Ein warmes Gefühl von zu Hause mit gleichzeitigem cleanen Charakter, eine perfekte Mischung. Für mich persönlich war es ein erster Urlaub, der einen wahren Entspannungsrahmen haben sollte und einen großen Erfolgsanteil hatte das tolle Casa. Kamin per Knopfdruck eingestellt, gemütliche Stunden auf der Fensterbank mit dem Blick in die Ferne und auf die Seilbahn, anschließend ein Saunagang mit Bergpanorama und vor dem Schlafengehen - übrigens in einem tollen Bett - ein Swirlpoolaufenthalt. Was will man (oder auch Frau) mehr? Die Küche bietet alle Möglichkeiten, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Auch unser Hund hat sich „bully“wohl gefühlt und genoss die ausgedehnten Spaziergänge, die sich rund um die Chalets anbieten. Toll!!!

Wir 2024/2025 zwischen den Jahren für eine Woche mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene 5 Kinder) in dem Chalet in Annaberg. Das Chalet ist super gelegen, direkt an der Skipiste und auch gut zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich vollumfänglich. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Das Chalet selbst ist schön aufgebaut, gut ausgestattet und bietet einen tollen Blick auf die umgebenden Berge. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider hatte wohl vorher jemand in dem Chalet geraucht (ist eigentlich nicht erlaubt), weswegen es im Untergeschoss nach kaltem Rauch gerochen hat. Der Vermieter hat hier schnell versucht über einen Raumduft zu helfen, was aber leider nur das Symptom gemindert hat. Aber da steckt man als Vermieter auch nicht drin und wir waren dankbar über die angebotene Hilfe.

The place is exactly what you expect from pictures - we were 2 families and had plenty of both privacy and shared space to spend time together. Apart from the fact the house was rather cold upon our arrival (the heating didn't yet heat the cold building), everything was perfect, and both Sandra and Edith (the hosts) did their best to make us feel welcome and comfy. Sandra was always ready to answer our questions and gave us local tips, too. Edith even brought us homemade cake .. simply sweet. The place is perfect for a winter retreat - cca 20 mins to Katschberg for good skiing, snow tubing hill just a few hundred meters from the house, and a safe garden behind the house. It is also well-accessible, even in snowy conditions. As soon as the house got warm, we never wanted to leave .. and the sauna after the day on the slopes was a treat .. :) Overall, we can only recommend this place, and we thank you, Sandra and Edith, once again! I hope to be back :)

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal bei Stuart zu Gast und haben uns gleich wieder wie Zuhause gefühlt! Es ist wirklich toll Stuart als Gastgeber zu haben, er ist gut erreichbar, immer nett und hilfsbereit :). Man hat das ganze Haus für sich, was ein großer Luxus ist und wir immer sehr genießen! In Kaprun kann man alles vom Haus aus zu Fuß erreichen, hat aber gleichzeitig seine Ruhe um sich super zu erholen. Wir kommen bestimmt noch mehrmals wieder um Stuarts Gäste zu sein :)!

Superb housing in a very convenient location, with an incredible view of the mountains. The house was spotless, perfectly prepared when we arrived, and very well maintained. Everything was in line with the description. Communication with Julian was very smooth and efficient; everybody was very helpful. We can only recommend it.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende bei Arno in St. Johann! Check-in und Kommunikation waren total unkompliziert. Die Wohnung war sauber und genau wie geschrieben. Arno hat uns gute Tipps für die Gegend gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful stay in Chesa Paulina. On one side, the house is beautifully historical (we even decided to skip visiting Museum Engiadinais that demonstrates historic house interiors, since we lived in one :) ), on the other side, all amenities are modern and there is everything you need. The house was very clean and well organized. With regard to the surroundings, the playground was a blast with our kids, and Zuoz is one of the most beautiful and historic towns in Engadin. At the same time, Volg (grocery store) on the main square is open 7 days a week and is only a 2 minute walk from the house. We did many day trips using the train into the surrounding towns for various activities (trails, horse riding, going up Diavolezza with the cable car, strolling along the St Moritz lake), which was very convenient as well. And one can watch beautiful nature, houses and farms out of the train window. All in all, this was a great vacation and I highly recommend Priscilla's house!

Wir waren bereits zum dritten mal als Familie in Nicolas Wohnung in den Skiferien. Die Lage ist perfekt, die Skipiste ubd die Skischule sind gleich um die Ecke. In der Wohnung haben wir uns wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt und die Kommunikation mit Nicola und Patricia hat super geklappt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Landhaus Bambi!! Tanya ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin und die Wohnung ist wirklich richtig schön, wahnsinnig gemütlich und sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und werden es aus voller Überzeugung weiterempfehlen! Dieses Apartment wäre immer unsere erste Wahl in Ellmau. Besser geht es nicht! Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Tanya!!!

Wir waren für knapp eine Woche in Julias Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gemütlichen Atmosphäre, sauber und eine Traum Gegend. Zum erholen und entspannen bestens geeignet. Also eine absolute Empfehlung auch mit Kindern !

Ein schönes, gemütliches Haus in traumhaft schöner Umgebung hoch oberhalb des Tals mit direktem Zugang zum Skigebiet.

The most beautiful apartment, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. It feels like a real Swiss log cabin with an open fire & lovely wooden furniture. The cosy yet open plan living area I loved. The secret room is such a fun touch (didn’t find it straight away, which made it even more fun). Great location for me, as close to family and 1minute from the Wynegg. A very comfy bed with feathered duvet & pillows and the apartment was always the perfect temperature and warm. The apartment has everything you need and more, adaptors, board games, fully stocked kitchen and a coffee machine. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful and made the stay really simple and easy for me. I will definitely be back and so will my family.

Ubytování je v oblasti s krásnými horskými scenériemi. Pokoj byl krásně čistý a vytopený na příjemnou teplotu. Hostitel byl velmi nápomocný, když jsme vybrali špatnou cestu, aby nás navedl na jinou :) V pokoji nám chyběla jen mikrovlnka, která byla v nabídce zmíněna, protože cestujeme s malým dítětem a potřebujeme občas něco ohřát, ale vystačili jsme si se sporákem.

Alloggiare presso lo Chalet di Enrico è stato bellissimo! Appartamento come da descrizione, tenuto molto bene con attenzione ai particolari, spazi confortevoli e molto puliti. Infatti abbiamo potuto usufruire del deposito sci, della Spa all’interno del complesso, del box sotto l’appartamento. Tutto molto nuovo e funzionale. È stato possibile anche usufruire del bar del vicino, l’Hotel Centrale che comunica direttamente con Enrico tramite la mamma Nadia, che è stata sempre pronta a servirci per ogni richiesta. Se devo sottolineare una nota di merito è la Spa!!!! Il servizio è all’interno degli appartamenti, gode di diversi spazi per un utilizzo minimo di persone al fine di potersi godere al meglio in privacy i vari luoghi proprio ad un passo dalla camera da letto. La Spa è molto pulita, fornita di kit per l’esperienza completata da tisane, succhi e piccoli sfizi per il palato che ti fanno vivere al meglio il relax! Comunicare con Enrico è stato molto semplice, sempre presente!

Wir waren 7 Freude für drei Tage in Sonnehüüsli. Leider war die Wintersaison schon ne Woche vorher wegen Schneemangel beendet worden. Der Aufenthalt war heimelig und die Wohnung bot alles was wir benötigten mit schönem Ausblick. Danke an Nina und Thomas

What an amazing time at Rok’s cottage. This was one of the best experiences from the start and communication with Rok to the actual stay. The cottage had everything we needed and was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast provided and the sauna were great bonuses. The restaurant nearby was also very good. If you have the chance, book this experience. You won’t be disappointed.

A truly beautiful location. Close to the lift and restaurants of piste 85 (Alpe Cermis), yet very quiet and private. The view of the valley is breathtaking, the terrace full of sun. And you can ski directly there on your skis. The communication is very friendly and attentive. Allessandro is very helpful. The house itself is clean, but slightly old-fashioned in terms of bathroom and kitchen (see photo's). We think this Chalet has an excellent price/quality balance and can highly recommend the Chalet. Tips for your stay: - Online you can buy tickets with a 10% discount. - The slope is for a novice to intermediate skier. Try the 75,88,76,84,74,87 (long + descend 1400 meters (!)). - A day trip to Latemar is definitely worth it (but much busier) - The ski rental near the chalet is much friendlier and cheaper than the one downstairs (+10% discount). - Try Tiramisu at Baita Tonda and fresh pizza at Eurotel Hotel. We would for sure recommend the Chalet!

Het is even een onderneming om er te komen in de winter, maar als je eenmaal binnen bent, ben je dat direct weer vergeten: het uitzicht, de luxe van de sleebaan en skipiste direct naast de deur, de magische stilte die 's avonds over de berg valt, de donkerte, de eerste afdaling op een nog lege skipiste, de knusheid van het huis, de fijne keuken.... Bedankt Iris en Sami voor jullie hulp bij aankomst! We komen heel graag een keer terug.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Lage ist ein Traum. Lucia war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden sofort gerne wiederkommen.

Wir haben als Familie mit 3 Kindern ein paar schöne Tage in Monikas Hütte verbracht. Die Hütte ist super gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt, Feuerholz ist mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Sie liegt ruhig und in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Wanderwege. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch. Falls man nicht selbst kochen möchte, gibt es im nächsten Ort (3 Autominuten) das Gasthaus Tauernwirt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Der nächste größere Ort Trieben ist 15 Fahrminuten entfernt (Bäcker, Super usw). Wir können die Hütte sehr weiterempfehlen!

Sehr schönes Chalet im Vogel Skigebiet. Wir haben 3 tolle Tage hier verbracht und haben die Berge genossen. Fie Gastgeber waren sehr hilfreich

Andreas Hütte ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Bei einem einwöchigen Aufenthalt hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Selbstversorgung ist in der voll ausgestatteten Küche gut möglich, aber auf den leicht zu erwandernden bewirtschafteten Hütten lässt es sich auch gut speisen. Die Anreise wird von Andrea detailliert erklärt und der Fußmarsch im Winter dauert mit Gepäck ca. 15min. Alles ist wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Gastgeberin!
