It’s a lovely home in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect place for a weekend away. We would love to come back in the summer and explore the beaches. And the view, as stunning as the pictures are, they can’t even do it justice. Just incredible. I would absolutely recommend this place to family and friends.

The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful. The hot tub worked great! Nice quiet area to walk the dogs and watch the birds. Host was helpful and responsive. The general store nearby doesn’t have much so we just went the ten miles or so back to town. Great hikes nearby. Highly recommend!

Came here for an Easter getaway. Love everything about this home and would most certainly stay again given the opportunity. Thank you again for sharing!

The Red Owl has been our first choice a couple of times for our visit to Sequim..It fit our family of 11 perfectly..great yard for the kids to run around in..very clean and has everything we needed! Peter is always accommodating and attentive..Thank you Peter!

This was a perfect place for my dog and I while my home was being renovated. We did not use the basement area. Upstairs had beautiful views. Beach access was a bonus!

Really lovely place in Cowichan Valley. Jane was a lovely and kind host. The place was exactly as shown/described, with a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again when we're back in Duncan!

Anne Marie was absolutely lovely, as was this cozy little space. From being flexible on check in time to accommodate my flight, to proactively recommending local hidden gems, she was a joy. I look forward to staying here again.

Lara and Casey's basement apartment was cozy and I felt right at home from the moment I checked in. They were very responsive to questions and provided me with a few additional things I needed in the apartment for cooking. I thought overall my stay was a comfortable and a great value.

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. Armstrong’s Bird Nest was a wonderful place. The location looking out on the water couldn’t have been better if you love seeing wildlife and basking in nature’s peacefulness. Will definitely be back.

Beyond impressed with my experience. The home was clean, spacious, with lovely classic architecture. The sunroom was peaceful and the yard area was picturesque. The house is within a mile of restaurants, shops, cafes, and a farmers market. The area is very walkable and the people friendly. The hosts were attentive and communicated clearly and in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to book again.

cavans place was perfect for our group of 4 nice and clean kitchen has everything you need. we enjoyed the fireplaces and playing pool and watching hockey cast to the large TV. my crew were happy with the place and having their own bedroom. cheers Billy

Well equipped kitchen and kid- friendly place. The kids loved the outdoor play area and the koi fish pond. I sincerely appreciate the baby gate and the availability of other items that kids would need. The place is also very close to the beach and the view from balcony is mind-blowing. We loved this house!! The living area is large, beautiful and airy and the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Our favourite part was of course the pool- it's not too deep (probably 5.5 ft at its deepest) which was PERFECT for our kids. The water was warm and it's a perfect size. There are also a bunch of loungers around the pool which are really nice. Master bedroom is huge with a walk in closet and amazing shower. One bedroom is small but nice and the other is awesome, with a hidden room with disco lights! This is a great house for a family vacation and we will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property in a residential neighborhood. It is decieving, because when you arrive at the property, you will be surrounded by trees, however the home is light and bright. Privacy is my biggest concern, so when I was driving into the neighborhood, I was uncertain about what privacy would look like. When you arrive inside, you feel like you have been teleported into a home in a beautiful forested area in the middle of a rural landscape; a getaway that will not disappoint. All amenities are provided, amd the host is friendly, professional, and available. Various ethnic restaurants are a short drive, as are Target, Safeway, and almost anything else you need!

Great location and plenty of space for our group, with small bay a short walk away and less than 10 minutes drive to U Vic. Older kitchen but plenty of dishes, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and well stocked with bedding, toiletries, towels. Sofabeds were comfortable with a stunning waterfront view. Garden slightly overgrown and paths towards water less well-trodden and rocky. Deer were frequent visitors which was a bonus. A new deck overlooking the water was ideal for relaxing. Absolutely beautiful. It is so peaceful here and Anne's home is truly a luxury experience. I loved how spacious the house was - my daughter could be watching a movie on the other side of the house and I wouldn't hear a thing. The pool is beautiful and serene. We loved the massage chair, the bidet toilet (my first time using one of these), and the wonderful shower. The area is an upper-end suburb with cafe's, restaurants and some shopping nearby. There are sidewalks everywhere to walk and the ocean is just a half mile or so away. We mostly did day trips to the city but did have one day in the area checking out open houses just for fun. There are so many enormous, gorgeous houses in this area we were happy to spend an afternoon hopping from one to another. Teresa and Anne were lovely, attentive hosts. We enjoyed the few times we spoke to them and were grateful to have them as. hosts. I highly recommend this home for a quiet, beautiful, luxury stay.
