Holiday rentals with breakfast in Durham County

I stayed with Elizabeth for about a month after moving to Durham for work. She was very friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome in her home. The room was clean and spacious with a sizeable closet. They were larger than they appeared in the photos. I had a wonderful stay, and I'm glad to have chosen Elizabeth's place.

My children and I were participating in McKays 50th Birthday road trip! This house gave my kids a chance to have some fun before embarking on our 800 mile journey! We felt right at home and had a nice night.

Ms. Mary Grace was an excellent host. She was very sincere, generous, and welcoming. She made me feel like I was at home. Thanks to advices from her, my journey in Durham went smoothly. All the amenities that are listed were there for me to use. The house was very clean and neat. Also, Ms. Grace's dog Maude was such a sweetheart. I am glad that I have chosen Ms. Grace's house for my stay. The location of the house is exceptionally good, it is close to supermarkets, restaurants and a bus stop to downtown. For those who are searching for a place to study at Duke University, I would say Ms. Grace's house must be an option for you.

Fotula is an amazing host! She’s very flexible, warm and care about her guests. We felt like home and feel like we made a new friend 🤗👍 The house is spacious and the neighborhood is very calm, people around seemed friendly. There is a YCMA close by the house and also a trail to run and walk by. Hope valley is a very nice place to live in, thanks again Fotula.

When I first found this place I was wondering what’s with all the hype in these reviews. You rarely find an Airbnb with folks coming back 3 times and still leaves a 5-star review every time. But that’s the magic of Leah’s place (the bed is huge and comfy and you get your own bathroom! Amazing water pressure for the shower too!!) and the magic of leah. She stayed up till 12:30 midnight just to help me check in; she makes killer breakfast with fresh ingredients; she taught me so much in just 3 days. She listens, and she learns, and you will also learn a great deal from her. I had lived in NC for 4 years before staying at Leah’s place. But the stuff I learned about local history in my short stay here overwhelmed what I learned about the state in that 4 years. If you enjoy intellectual conversation, quiet and private stay, and genuine connection, Leah’s place is the perfect place to stay!!!!

We truly enjoyed our weeklong stay in this beautiful home fully equipped with all the necessities. Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels, and spacious primary bedroom on the first floor. The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare and enjoy a homemade meal. It was an added bonus having a separate room for office/study space. House is in a quiet and safe neighborhood conveniently located near downtown Durham and 9th street restaurants. We would definitely select this home for our next stay in Durham.

10/10 would recommend! This place is perfect for us. Stephan is such a great host. He’s friendly, accommodating and really goes above and beyond. The place is so comfortable with Casper beds and everything you didn’t know you needed is right there. The kitchenette has a Nespresso coffee maker, microwave, toaster, milk frother and stocked refrigerator. The couch is long and comfy and there’s a desk with working WiFi. This is our go to place whenever we’re in Durham. Stephan is like family now!

Sylvia's place was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip to Durham! Its location was the perfect distance from the main city that everything was accessible but the nights were peaceful. We had no issues while we were there and really appreciated all of the live plants. Her copy of the Hobbit was a wonderful treasure to see as well. We would love to stay here again in the future when we return to the area.

Myself my boyfriend and my dog stayed and it was amazing. Gorgeous views and lake to walk around. Very clean and organized. Very close to downtown and other activities. We enjoyed our stay and the host kept in contact when we had questions. We would absolutely stay again.

Cindy and John are very hospitable and make you feel like an old friend. The farmhouse is tucked back in the woods which makes it nice and peaceful. Try to arrive in the daylight as it is easy to miss the turnoff in the dark.

What a lovely lady and a lovely place to stay! Traveling alone I wanted to feel safe with a lady hostess and everything about this visit met that need above and beyond. I highly recommend this wonderful BnB!

My family and I had a delightful stay here. Our 21-month-old som had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the toys and the company of the host’s daughters. The daughters are adorable and chickens are charming, adding a special touch to our experience. We loved the special activities, like collecting fresh eggs from the coop and cooking with them. Debbie is friendly and very welcoming. She actually makes breakfast, which is quite rare with Airbnb these days. Everything was as described, the rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and the wifi was fast so I could do my digital nomad-ing thing. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, tucked up to some trees, and it was safe to walk in. This is a great place to stay if you want to be near Chapel Hill or the surrounding area. I would definitely stay again. :)

I stayed for a month with Marsh and he is a fantastic and friendly host. His house is in a very good location for exploring Raleigh. Marsh makes you feel right at home and he is very down to earth and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here anytime for any amount of time and I'll be sure to try to book this place the next time I'm in Raleigh.

We only stayed one night with Sherry and David, but my girlfriend and I were very impressed with the accommodations. The hosts were very warm and helpful. Their house is extravagant and clean. I hooe to stay longer in the future.
