The dormitory in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage, where you can intensely enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can accommodate up to 5 people. Children can have fun on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

Visit the Waddenzee and go in search of the seals, come mudflat walking, go bird watching in Lauwersoog, a day of shopping in Dokkum or Leeuwarden, cross over to the Wadden Islands, take a hike or go cycling in the area. The cottage is renovated and equipped with every comfort. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs with 4 sleeping places. There is an equipped kitchen. You can park the car in the private driveway.

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.
