This apartment offers you both: tranquility in the countryside and yet you are in the middle of Munich in just 30 minutes. The train station is a 2-minute walk away. The Ammersee and Wörthsee, two of the most beautiful lakes in the Munich area, can also be reached by car in 15 minutes. The apartment is located in a house with six parties on the property where my grandparents' house used to be. That's why there are still some memorabilia in the apartment, such as my grandmother's old sewing machine.

The apartment is on the top floor of the old farmhouse with access through the ground floor to the wild garden to the terrace, a fireplace and adjacent mill stream with swimming area, as well as the neighboring horse farm. The charming landscape with its lakes and the Windachtal valley invite you to activities in nature. Café, shop in the village.

Take a break and unwind. This red moonwooden house is located in a completely quiet residential area. Enjoy the sunrise over the eastern shore of Lake Ammersee from your own private terrace. The lake shore is just a few steps away. Welcome to the beautiful western shore of Lake Ammersee. The magnificent views of the lake and the Alps were already appreciated at the end of the 19th century. Painters, musicians, and wealthy citizens were drawn here for their summer holidays.

Cozy apartment on the first floor with a private terrace. Lakeside facilities, shopping and restaurants - all within walking distance in 7-8 minutes. Bathing area with kiosk about 1.5 km (accessible via car-free foot and bike path). From November to approx. the beginning of April, there is a beautiful lake view through the trees with magnificent sunrises. And from April to October, we are surrounded by lots of greenery and a beautiful view of the protected landscape area.

The house on the lake belongs to my wife and me. My son and his wife coordinate the rental for us (co-hosts). The lower apartment in the house is rented, the upper one we use occasionally. We look forward to welcoming you as guests in the upper apartment. The apartment is newly renovated, 100 sqm2 in size, offers plenty of space, light and a view over the lake and the mountains – great to unwind. NEW from November 2022: We offer you from November 2022 a private garden sauna with wood stove and panoramic windows with magnificent views of the Ammersee. Please note: Should you wish to use the garden sauna there is an additional sauna fee, the amount of which depends on the length of your stay. You will find more information below.
