La Forêt des Etoiles - house, garden, fireplace

Our guesthouse is a small 19th-century stone house, self-contained, on the edge of the Trois Pignons forest. A fireplace, beams, old terracotta tiles, and a garden where we eat outside in summer. The children have their own room with toys and books, and we lend a cot and a high chair. It is very quiet: you mostly hear birds (and owls at night). Trails and boulders start on foot, and bikes are delivered to the house. Milly-la-Forêt and its pool, 4 km. Fontainebleau and its châteaux, 20 min.

Nice independent house

Ideally located between Fontainebleau and Moret, within walking distance of the Champagne train station (direct trains, 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening, omnibus in the day from Paris) and the city center, this cottage is totally independent in a walled garden. Very comfortable for 2 people, but there is the possibility of sleeping 4 people thanks to the new BZ sofa in the living room. Bikers will be able to park their motorbikes safely under cover from strong winds.

Former outbuilding of the Château de Malesherbes which provided bread via a secret passage... Well, since then, unfortunately the secret passage has been blocked and has become our cellar... We are located on a long hiking trail close to the Buthiers Forest. You can rock in the hammock when you return from hiking, climbing, or cycling...
