Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fredensborg Municipality

If you're looking for a homey space with high ceilings, kind neighbors, kid-friendly surroundings, generous hosts and a rabbit in the communal garden, you've come to the right place! Sarah's townhouse has all imaginable amenities, and works fantastic if you have children as the area is teeming with playful kids. Sarah and her family are generous and freely share their home with great confidence and openness. Lots of nice details, toys for kids and a piano you can also buy. The home is functional and cozy, and easy to thrive. Humlebæk train station and Louisiana art museum - with the children's house (!!) - are within walking distance from the house. And then Sletten Havn with both ice house and nice sandy beach is not far from the house, and offers nice morning or evening baths after a long day in beautiful North Zealand. We would love to come back another time! :)

Excellent house for 6 - close to beach.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Nils house. Our two girls (1 and 3) loved the house, especially all the toys and the garden with the trampoline and the playhouse. The house is very cozy, clean and stylish and equipped with everything we needed. It is perfectly located for exploring North Zealand, close to the fabulous Louisiana Museum, Helsingør, Copenhagen, .... There are lots of stores, a train station and a small harbor with a nice little beach, a delicious fish takeaway, ice cream parlor and pizzeria nearby. Nils is a great host, very friendly and helpful before and during the stay. We definitely recommend this beautiful place and would love to come back!

We had a lovely time in the house over Christmas. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The house is a bit old but everything was clean and comfortable. The house is very spacious and warm, even in winter. It was the perfect base for us to visit family and friends. Would definitely rent again.

Enjoyed a long weekend with some family members at the accommodation. It’s a very neat and quiet house, which made the stay very comfortable. Train station is within walking distance, which is quite convenient if you’re planning on going out and explore surroundings.

We had a great time at Madeleine's house- it was very nice and tastefully decorated, we felt very comfortable immediately. Madeleine went out of her way to clear out all the cabinets so we had room for our belongings. Our kids had plenty of opportunities to play both indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately, we had forgotten our guidebook but that was not bad, because Madeleine wrote down so many tips in the area, which were really great! The communication was straightforward and always friendly - when we needed something, Madeleine came by again to bring it to us. We highly recommend the place!

Thank you for the possibility of using this great house with a large garden and beautiful furniture. We felt very comfortable as a family, were able to make many excursions to the surrounding area and beyond: Baden bei Gillenje, Helsingör, Museum Louisiana, Copenhagen... The train station and shopping were easily accessible on foot. Recommended!

A well equipped spotlessly clean ground floor flat with car park near. The owner communicated very well and was friendly and helpful. Well located near a small supermarket, nice walks nearby and a small sandy beech. 10 mins walk to train station to visit Copenhagen. This was a relaxing, comfortable home to return to after a day out!

The place is excellent, super spacious and comfortable, it is perfect for resting, Connie was super friendly.

We stayed at Emil's place for 5 days. When we checked in, we received a welcome card with a nice text, apartment for Emil is small and very cozy. I thoroughly enjoyed the interior and design of the apartment. Emil is easy to communicate with and he recommended us local eateries.

Very well located accommodation for visiting the Louisiana Museum and for access to Copenhagen by train in 50 minutes.

We loved our stay at Susanne’s place. Susanne met us as we pulled in and showed us around the place. She was very kind and helpful with recommendations for places to eat. The home was large and spacious with everything we needed for our stay available to us. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again if we had the opportunity.

We had a very nice time and enjoyed ending our evenings after our excursions in the cozy apartment on the comfortable couch in front of the large TV. One day we were back so early that we could still enjoy the view of nature on the balcony in the sunshine. Cooking in the kitchen was also fun - the kitchen was above average well equipped,including such high-quality knives are anything but self-evident. The free parking space was also very convenient. We would recommend the apartment without hesitation!

Extremely good accommodation. Beautiful and cozy rural , only 2.5 km to the city. Very helpful hosts. Nicely clean. Good beds and good fixtures.

Loved this place! Peaceful, located right next to the forest. Easy access to Copenhagen. Thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for cooking. We hope to be back one day.
