The Thistle at Texas Comfort Haus

This is the one of four rooms at our Texas Comfort Haus. A Queen bed, large room and private bathroom are accessed from the side of our property. Single bedroom/bathroom combo with access doors from the exterior. We are only the THIRD OWNERS of this 115+ old historic home. It was used as a home, school and to house missionaries over the years. Now we share it. We LOVE its charm, and chose to not change many of those things. Yes, the floors are original, doors creak and insulation did not exist.

Boasting beautiful Texas Hillcountry views, Casita Geoda is a half mile from both Hidden Falls Wedding Venues and boat ramp access to scenic Canyon Lake. Casita Geoda is also 12 miles away from riverside music venue, Whitewater Amphitheater and river tubing access. Casita Geoda sleeps up to four guests but we think it's the perfect getaway for two. Note - AC is set to 70° minimum.

The suite is a newly remodeled spacious bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, rustic ceiling beams and lots of natural light. The updated bathroom includes a large glass shower and walk-in closet. The well-stocked coffee bar has a mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker and microwave. Outside is a private deck with hot tub. On-site parking. The suite is completely private, with it's own private entrance.

Bow-wood Suite (rustic but romantic and cozy 🥂)

We would love to have you stay in one of our three suites in this 1927 mail order Bungalow (we think it's a Sears one!) This Bungalow has been completely updated with all the 'modern' conveniences, but still with keeping that rustic/elegant look of the Hill Country. Front porch for 'relaxi'n/sipping', Landscaped yard, private parking lot, private patio with comfy seating, umbrellas and fans. So sorry, but we are not set up for children or pets in this Bungalow.

Maple Suite at Bloomingwild is a quiet little hideaway not far from Main Street shops, galleries, restaurants, and tasting rooms. A little path leads you to this private guest suite that opens onto your own private courtyard with a vibrant Japanese maple tree. The Loft (Why stay in a hotel?)

This place is a labor of love that I enjoy sharing. Come enjoy. Rainwater collection, wildlife viewing and comfortable scenic areas to kick back with coffee in the mornings and a drink in the evenings. Very romantic setting. Small space in Loft of home (300 square ft.) but has a nice private deck and entrance. Efficiency style room. Queen size bed and stand up shower. As of 2025 we now have a community laundry available.

Hill Country Getaway 1 bed kitchenette

Our home is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in the city of Kerrville, with Golf Course views, lots of amenities and beautiful sunsets. A place to relax, quiet neighborhood, enjoy the Guadalupe River, nearby Wineries, golfing, hunting, fishing, bike trails, horseback riding, canoe/kayak/tube rentals in the area. Less than 30 minutes away from Fredericksburg, and less than an hour away from San Antonio!

Town Creek Warren - Suite A

Located on the second floor of a building just 1 block north of Main Street, this wonderful suite is ideal for those looking to experience downtown Fredericksburg to the fullest. After a fun-filled day, you'll return to a recently-renovated space that is highlighted by a stunning large shower. Dogs are also allowed for those that have four-legged travel companions.

Canoe Barn on Barons Creek

This private room with bath and kitchen is attached to my house by a front wall, roof, and back deck, although there is no common wall. The deck looks over peaceful Barons Creek where deer and turkeys are often seen. It is 1 mile from the heart of downtown. This has never been an actual barn but is constructed like one.
