In the morning you will be awakened by the sound of the birds and through the large window you may see a deer walking through the forest. When you are in bed, you can look through the skylight at the starry sky. The Stuga is cozy and equipped with every comfort, with a complete kitchen, bathroom with rain shower and dry toilet. The location is central for excursions to cities and nature reserves.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden embankment, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of maize or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

I would love to welcome you to my unique place in the middle of the farmlands of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. By the way, the ferry is privately owned, and is only used by my guests.

The house has all the comforts, within walking distance of the beautiful historic center of Meppel (450 meters) and train and bus station (280 meters). With the possibility to park for free in the street. Bicycle rental can be found within walking distance at the train station (280 meters).
