Monthly Rentals in Gavaudun

We traveled to Monflanquin for a friend's wedding. The village is very charming but restaurants keep limited hours. Beautiful country scapes and other interesting towns and chateaus to explore close by. Herve was very friendly and attentive.

😊 We had a refreshing weekend at the little cottage in La Roche. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The garden overlooks a meadow where animals discreetly greet newcomers — a real moment of sweetness and connection with nature. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with the essentials, this is the place. The cottage is tastefully arranged, down to the last detail, and the equipment is perfect, including an outdoor BBQ. The small producers in the area are welcoming and allow you to discover the local flavors. A big thank you to Stéphanie for his warm welcome and availability. We will come back without hesitation! Set in a delightful elevated position this comfortable property is set in a large well managed garden giving good long views out across a densely wooded landscape. Claudie the owner is discreet but very welcoming and obviously enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the property, its extensive colourful garden, the surrounding countryside and its wildlife. We were also given a fascinating insight into Gavaudun's industrial past, much of which is now lost to view. A great location for enthusiastic walkers and proficient cyclists.
