In the warmer months, the Wilde Werk – a creative meeting place with a kitchen, studio and plenty of space to linger – invites you to enjoy yourself, work or be creative. Whether you want to slow down or go hiking in the nearby Geo-Naturpark, both are possible here.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Holidays in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Quietly located, fully equipped comfort apartment (approx. 70 square meters) for 2 or 4 (comfort occupancy) to a maximum of 6 people (exception with limited comfort) with direct access to the garden and pool area. Pool 4 x 8 m, covered and heatable. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, draisine rides and excursions to Eichsfeld, Eisenach, Mühlhausen and others. Breakfast can be provided in the apartment (for an extra charge). Free parking spaces are available.

Ferienhaus "Ahle Schinn" Relax on the Werra

Our cottage is a half-timbered house in "Klein Venice", the old fisherman's houses in front of the city wall and is limited by the Werra, the Werrabrücke and the old city wall. In the 1990s it has been lovingly renovated and has been modernized since then. Families with children are welcome! Cots for toddlers and high chairs are included at no extra charge. The ground floor is used by a café with beer garden, from which you can also be taken care of on request.

Modern guest house "Seenah" and close to the city

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram.
