The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Darker in winter (basement), nice and cool in summer. 6 km to Freiburg main station/Münsterplatz in Freiburg, 10 min. walk to the end of the tram, from there 15 min. to Freiburg. 20 minutes by bike. Welcome! The guest apartment (about 50 square meters) is located in the basement of our house - enough space that our guests can feel comfortable in their own area. Included in the price is the tourist tax to the municipality of Glottertal. From two nights (only for tourist stays) you will receive the KONUS-Card, with which you can use public transport free of charge throughout the Black Forest region, as well as free parking tickets for all P+R car parks in Freiburg.

Welcome to our apartment in picturesque Glottertal, just 10 minutes from Freiburg. The apartment is perfect for two people but can also accommodate families with children. Explore breathtaking hiking trails directly from the apartment to the local mountain Kandel, St. Peter or Rosskopf. For bike rides, the Kaiserstuhl area or nearby Alsace can be reached in a short time. The apartment is quiet, surrounded by nature, a highlight for those seeking relaxation!

The lovingly furnished 40 sqm apartment "Haus Barbara" is located in the semi-basement (south-facing) of a quiet (in a 30 km/h zone) semi-detached house at the foot of the "Eichberg" away from the main road. A covered seating area (south side) with table and chairs is right in front of the apartment. The outdoor pool is a few minutes' walk away. Bus stop (150 m), bakery (150 m), butcher (150 m) and a grocery store (Rewe, 500 m) are nearby.

As a starting point for activities of all kinds, the location is ideal. You can start hiking directly from the house or at the nearby stop you can climb the nearest bus to your excursion destination. For guests by car, the travel time to most of the attractions in the Black Forest is less than 45 minutes.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy the view of the valley or the evening by the warming fireplace. Discover many small details and refinements in the completely self-designed and restored premises. Feel completely at ease - surrounded by natural materials and lush nature. Listen to the birdsong and bees buzzing, the gurgling of the stream, the distant bleating of the sheep or the calling of the cows.

Public transport, a bakery are nearby. 10 min. to Emmendingen city center ( bus or car), about 15 min. to Freiburg ( train or car), about 30 min. to Europa-Park in Rust ( car). There is an excavator lake nearby ( it may be bathed)

Das Mini Apartment verfügt über einen eigenen Zugang und eine große Terasse, um in ruhiger Umgebung entspannen zu können. Das Wohn- und Schlafzimmer ist klein aber geräumig. Wenn zwei Personen buchen sollten Sie sich gern haben, das Bett ist 1,40m breit. Die Küche ist nur für kleine und einfache Zubereitungen ausgestattet. Fragen beantworten wir jederzeit gerne.

You will stay in a small workshop house on the edge of the old town, Wiehre district. Due to the rear house situation, you will live very quietly but still centrally, in the middle of Freiburg. The tram stop and bike station are just 2 minutes away. The infrastructure is extremely good, all important shops are within walking distance.
