Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Groningen

Een comfortabel en mooi ingericht huis, van alle gemakken voorzien! Mooie omgeving met goede wandelpaden. Ook voor de kinderen was het super, lekker buiten rauzen op het terrein. Zeker aan te raden!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub. Im Haus haben wir uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben und die Kommunikation mit Dennis war super. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Had a perfect stay for a few days. We wanted a weekend of chill and that's what we got :) Sauna and hottub were fantastic for relaxing, especially after a nice walk in the forest. That's all actually! Everything was in order and as expected. Recommended spot for calming down.

Wir haben für eine kurzes Wochenende ein Treffen mit den Kindern gehabt. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Gerade für diesen Zweck ist das Haus gut geeignet, weil es viele Zimmer gibt. Die etwas abgelegende Lage am Ortsrand ist für eine ruhige Zeit sehr zu empfehlen.

Richard was a great host, very responsive and always prepared to assist with any issues. The house was clean and very large with plenty of space so my co workers and I never felt on top of each other.

Wij hebben een heerlijke week doorgebracht bij Aagje in Een-West. Mooie ruime woning met heerlijke tuin erbij. Goede bedden.We troffen heerlijk zonnig weer. Omdat het nog vroeg in het jaar is,was het ook heerlijk om einde middag nog lekker in de iglo-kas te zitten;waar het was opgewarmd door het zonnetje. Aagje is een hele lieve gastvrouw;vrolijk,belangstellend en altijd bereid om info te geven over de mooie omgeving. Een-West bied je de kans om in Drenthe,Groningen en Friesland rond te kijken…. Flott og sjarmerende hus i vakre omgivelser. Fine turområder. Kort avstand til flere koselige byer. Praktisk kjøkken for matlaging. Stille og rolig om natten, vi sov godt. God plass til alle i sofa område for kveldskos. Fin hage og fuglesang.

Fantastic house in stunning location, right at the center of Winsum at a canal! Beautiful house with three bedrooms, we stayed as a family of five, but the house is also great for a group of friends. Huge space downstairs, kitchen well equipped. Toilet and bathroom both upstairs, and a typical dutch steep staircase, but we've seen them waaay steeper, this one wasn't bad ;-) Nice restaurants close by, and we just loved "our" private back terrace! Host is super helpful, always fast responsive! Do stay if you have a chance!

Very cosy and atmospheric camping! We got a full tour of the camping upon arrival. The showers are big and clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Sehr geschmackvolle, bunte Wohnung zu wohlfühlen. Es fehlte an nichts. Allerdings hätten wir gerne eine Heizung im Bad und eine zweite Bettdecke gehabt. Die Lage ist toll. Mit dem Fahrrad erreicht man die Innenstadt in 10 Minuten. Das Wochenende war wunderschön!

Thomas & Marrit's house is really lovely-well thought out apartment. It's a 15 minute drive to Groningen and the surroundings and the house/garden itself are so nice. They were also friendly, flexible & helpful. As shared in the description, there is some noise from passing trains and cars, but you can watch it from the window, and my 3 year old loved that. I also enjoyed staying in the box wall bed, so unique. The kitchen is minimal, with just the essentials and no dishwasher, but it's perfect for a short stay. I would definitely come back to this house and better explore their garden along the water, the trampoline and the piano/stage area that is inside the property when you first walk in.

Wat een heerlijk knus huisje. Fijne sfeer! Terug in de tijd én van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk bed en moderne badkamer, heerlijk met vloerverwarming. Prachtige omgeving en hartelijke gastvrouw. Ik heb genoten! Dankjewel!

Wir hatten einen super tollen Kurzaufenthalt und haben zugleich die Ruhe auf dem liebevoll naturverbundenen und nachhaltigen Hof genießen können. Tolle Out-Door Küche, liebe Menschen und super Service. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Liebe zum Detail und die künstlerischen Einflüsse runden den Hof perfekt ab. Danke dafür :)

Ich war nun schon das zweite Mal bei Gerard zu Gast. Gerard wohnt nebenan und ist gut für einen zu erreichen, trotzdem hat man absolut seine Privatsphäre. Wer eine Auszeit in den ländlichen Niederlanden sucht findet hier genau das. Die Unterkunft eignet sich auch perfekt mit dem Hund, da Gerard sehr Hundefreundlich ist. Die Gegend ist super für lange Gassirunden. Danach ab in den warmen Whirpool. War nicht das letzte Mal dort....

Mooie fijne ruimte met een leuk en werkend houtkacheltje. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf is aanwezig.

Now and again you run into an Airbnb like this which ticks all the boxes. Raymond is a great host with excellent communication. His place is super comfortable and luxurious. The kitchen is hyper equipped, the tv surround system is a treat and you can cast your music to the Sonos system . The bathroom is huge and well equipped , the bed is super comfy. The location is in the middle of the woods and due to zero light pollution the starry skies are magnificent. Highly recommended

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche mit unseren beiden Kindern (5 und 8 Jahre) in dem Ferienhaus am Schildmeer. Wir konnten fast jeden Tag baden und haben ansonsten die Umgebung erkundet (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). Die Ausstattung ist besser als angegeben: Es gibt Toilettenpapier, Handseife, Hände- und Geschirrtücher und in der Küche eine große Auswahl an Kochutensilien und Gewürzen. Es gibt keine ln Backofen, aber eine Mikrowelle, in der wir unseren Auflauf zubereitet haben. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und sagen herzlichen Dank!

Wir waren ein Wochenende mit Freundinnen in Robs Haus. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Es ist alles da und das Gelände riesig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Auch die Kommunikation mit Rob war wahnsinnig nett und zuverlässig. Tausend Dank für alles! 😊

This trip was a last minute “had to” trip but we enjoyed staying at this beautiful place! Next trip back to Assen we hope to stay here again. We all enjoyed Billie 💕

Wat een heerlijk huis met top tuin en faciliteiten is dit. Wat je ook wil doen... het kan hier. En alles is ook heel duidelijk aangegeven. Als je wel iets moet weten krijg je snel reactie op je vraag. simpelweg: top!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la maison de Ronald. La maison est belle et les équipements fidèles a ce qui était noté sur l’annonce. C’est un vrai petit havre de paix. Les maisons sont proches les unes et des autres mais cela n’empêche pas d’être tranquille. Il est très sympa de pouvoir profiter du bateau, les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié! Ronald a toujours été réactif par messages pour toutes nos questions. Il y a 3 jolis chats très sympathique, avec une mention spéciale pour Bibi qui était très très câlin ❤️ La seule chose à améliorer éventuellement seraient plus de rangement pour les affaires des visiteurs. Car les armoires des chambres sont occupées par leurs affaires personnelles.
