Monthly Rentals in Halifax

We lucked out, it was a perfect spot for us (we have 2 young kids), very efficient space, well decorated in a quiet area. The area itself has lots of amenities within 2-5 mins away. We found them super responsive, no issues or complaints. We will definitely recommend to friends and will likely be back ourselves.

Chris is a friendly and accommodating host. Communications were excellent. The little bouquet of flowers over the sink was a nice touch. The accommodation is very well equipped, and has a personal touch. You feel like you are staying where someone actually lives comfortably (and where you can be comfortable during your stay). The kitchen has not only a full array of the equipment needed to prepare meals but also a broad supply of basic foodstuffs which Chris generously makes available to her guests. Halifax has plenty of restaurants, which we enjoyed, but just as often we enjoyed our home cooked meals at Chris's place. Chris's place is very convenient. A bus line stops just outside the house and driving to almost anywhere in the Halifax area is easy. And in Halifax, having reserved parking is a real perk.

Jessica was amazing, she reached out and welcomed us immediately. She described how to find her and described her places to a tee and most of all, she was totally down to earth and made us feel so welcome right away!! My husband had a life threatening surgery and she accommodated us with such care and concern. Her promptness to replies was exemplary! I spent a full month in this stunning house overlooking the water and the ocean. The house is pristine with all of the amenities you could possibly need. There is a well-appointed kitchen, and an upstairs bedroom with a comfortable king bed and a panoramic view. Thankfully, there are heavy, tasteful curtains to prevent the sun from overwhelming you early in the morning. It has a beautifully landscaped outdoor patio, storybook steps leading to the house and lovely lighting illuminating the way. It's private, at the end of a gravel road and at the beginning of a trailhead. There are at least two gorgeous parks/trails within ten minutes and a nearby open field to run your dog. The whole place is spotlessly clean and modern and has state of the art appliances, including a double load washer/dryer. Gian is super responsive and you call tell how much pride he takes in the place. My only complaint is that the toaster took too long to toast the bread:). The place was perfect.
