The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg: 45 minutes. The Schweigmatt swimming pool is a club pool. You can buy it for 20 euros for 4 uses.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesental valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to five guests a cozy stay. The border triangle enables a variety of cultural and sports leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Set in Herrischried, the vacation home "Ferien Alm Alfret" occupies an idyllic alpine pasture and offers a splendid view of the mountains and the Black Forest. The 2-storey property is a typical example of the regional architecture and consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet and can accommodate 6 people. Available amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a dryer.

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.
