It is a lovely property set in a fantastic location. We really enjoyed the stay and looking forward to returning very soon.

Richard was a great host, very responsive and always prepared to assist with any issues. The house was clean and very large with plenty of space so my co workers and I never felt on top of each other.

The owners (Kathy and Martin) are very sweet helpful people, the cottage has been completely refurbished by Martin himself and looks really beautiful! You won't find a better Host and it's really recommended, so far our best stay on Airbnb ❤️ The games closet also came in very handy after a long day out, I think we played out the entire closet about 8 times, even though there is plenty of choice. It is a very hygienic cottage and everything works properly. We hope to return in the future for sure!

The house has a lot to see in summer! An absolute dream with children! We didn't need to do much as we were busy all day with the pool and the many activities in the garden. There is a small cafe right around the corner and Groningen can also be reached in 10 minutes and offers many shopping opportunities. The house is very nicely decorated and there is a lot of space! Please take mosquito spray with you as it is right next to a field. We felt very comfortable ! Johann is very friendly and helpful. Our kids had so much fun and we as parents were able to relax well. In summer the house is a dream ! We would highly recommend it as a family. Thanks for having us as your guest 🧡

We had a short vacation with two children. The accommodation has enough space for a family of 4. The rooms were all clean. You have everything you need. And we had felt like at home. In the garden there is a nice sauna and a large hot tub. The sauna is worth the money in our opinion. And we were allowed to enjoy the hot tub to the fullest with the wood provided to us free of charge. The surroundings and a very nice playground also leave nothing to be desired. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you and all the best!

This farm is a perfect place to get away from people and at the same time discover unique views of the Netherlands ! At 15min bike from the train station it is a pleasure to discover Grijpskerk and Visvliet also ! just for the aracnophobes there is some spiders you will live with.

It was a lovely apartment, and a super nice helpful lovely couple, they always gave tips for excursions. We will be happy to come back.

Our friends weekend with 9 people was a great success thanks to the nice airbnb! Flexible hosts, customizable time for check out and tidy beds have made the stay even more pleasant. Great stay, nice and quiet, very helpful host.

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.

It's a beautiful and nicely decorated stay, everything is quite new. Beautiful surroundings and wonderfully quiet, easy to find and self check-in is completely convenient. Very helpful and kind people. If I have to go to the UMCG Groningen again and have to stay somewhere, then we will definitely come back.

It was beyond expectations, feltl like home. Kitchen utilities were plenty. Surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and private.

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful, modern and well-kept apartment - and it is located in a nice area. The landlords are very friendly. In Groningen, be sure to go to the forum and the museum!

Nice spacious apartment, top location, good communication

Due to my husband's work, we stayed in the accommodation of Dennis and his family for 7 weeks, who live in the main part of the house. The property is very quietly located. For those who love it like us it's perfect. You only need a car or bike for weekly shopping as there are no shops in the village. The rooms are small and each has a dresser in it. The bathroom, on the other hand, is very spacious, you absolutely have to ventilate after each shower, otherwise it smells something special. The kitchen and living room are very inviting to linger. Unfortunately, the garden was always very wet due to the weather, which is why we can't tell much about it. Behind the house there is a very nice playground and picnic areas. There are plenty of great ways to walk. We made trips to Groningen, Veemdam, Assen and even Amsterdam. We enjoyed it very much. Dennis and his family were incredibly nice!

The place was way better than the pictures. Super nice game space. Very large. The pool table was a hit. Everything you needed was there. Sauna is with plunge pool. Everything was neat. Nice extra that there were horses and could pet. Quiet area but with all the facilities you don't necessarily have to leave the cottage. We would recommend it or definitely come back.

The long weekend in the apartment overlooking the lake was beautiful. The apartment is freshly renovated and we were welcomed with drinks and some treats in the fridge. We were even allowed to borrow the canoe to ride it across the lake. Joke and her husband Martin help wherever they can. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!
