Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Höchenschwand

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

We had a wonderful time staying with Daniel and Martin. Everything was perfect - and so we could fully enjoy our little break from the first minute of our arrival. A cozy home with a fireplace, sauna, a beautiful little garden and great views, beautiful scenery and hiking trails right outside the front door. The apartment has everything it needs to feel at home straight away. Everything is very tasteful and very lovingly decorated, everything is very clean and well maintained. A big thank you to Martin and Daniel for the uncomplicated communication, the very warm welcome and the many useful information or tips. A big thank you but also for the very tasty stone oven bread. This is pure hospitality! We are very much looking forward to our next visit with Martin and Daniel, two wonderful hosts.

Susanne is an amazing host and very helpful. She offers a very nice countryside house. I really recommend to anyone.

Amazing host, thank you for all your help during our stay. The pictures don't do the house justice, it's fantastic and the area is amazing and peaceful. Only 30 mins on the tram into basel. Will stay here again when visiting the area, thanks Silvie for everything.

On our way to Italy, we spontaneously came across this location. It was great. Such a nice cottage which is beautifully authentic and modern inside. The enclosed garden was very nice for our young dog. The village was so clean and full of flowers. And with 10 minutes you are in Basel, which is also definitely worth visiting! Maybe we'll visit again on the trip back!

Easy accessible and warn room

The space is big, bright, even nicer in real life than in the photos. The kitchen is very nice and open to the dining area and living room. The bathroom is very large and functional. Our dogs really enjoyed the fenced garden. Peaceful environment, forest within walking distance and good car departure point for getaways in the black forest. Walter was very responsive in answering our questions. The only thing to improve might be to have access to a washing machine for long stays and a welcome booklet.

The apartment is very cute and cosy and had everything I needed. The view from the balcony is magical. Aylin was really helpful and communicative, I would definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful airbnb!

It is a small but warm and very comfortable apartment for 4 people, very clean, tidy and decorated. The pool is a plus. I would emphasize that in the apartment it is incredibly equipped with everything a family might need, even details like movies, games, candles, glue, bags, aluminum foil, condiments, grooming and cleaning products... you just need to bring your clothes and food. Claudia welcomed us kindly with Easter decoration and sweets. The village is very nice and quiet. Highly recommended, thank you Claudia 🥰

Great place to stay, super nice hosts, great breakfast. Sandra and Roman even asked about intolerances and provided extra food. We felt completely comfortable and slept great. The pool is also great for a morning dip.

We were in the Black Forest for an extended weekend. The accommodation was clean and from the balcony you had a fantastic view of the mountain and also the Feldberg. We particularly liked the problem-free use of the swimming pool and sauna. We had a wonderful time and would be happy to come back. Kind regards, Carolin

Everything tip top as always I felt like I was at home

I decided on a two-week vacation in my own region. Bathroom renovation was due and family reasons were decisive. I was able to rediscover different things, different perspectives and much more. "Madita" is wonderful, a pretty cottage in beautiful surroundings, what more could you ask for. We felt very comfortable, everything worked out for us, we can only recommend Madita. Communication with Steffi and Ferdi was also straightforward and consistently positive.

The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). I felt very comfortable in the apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities. There was a lot more there than indicated in the description

We were a couple with our dog. This is in the middle of rolling hills. On the first day they were green and then it snowed heavily, the next day it was totally white. This type of setting was what I was looking for my whole life after watching Heidi. The accommodation was splendid. One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in. All 3 of us enjoyed thoroughly. The apartment and the environment is perfect for dogs. Our’s was continuously playing in the snow and we went on long walks with him. Would definitely visit again.
