Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Holbox

GREAT! Everything was perfect, it's a great experience for us. The house is beautiful, a little paradise. Private beach, quiet, beautiful and large house, 2 very large bedrooms, a rooftop with hot tub, air conditioning, sea view, close to bars and restaurants, but away from the noise of the city center. Lucy who hosts us is extraordinarily kind, and always knows how to be available and has good advice. We recommend without reservation. A BIG THANK YOU

Stayed at Veronica’s place and it was absolutely perfect. We were 3 couples staying, and rented out the entire house. The whole house is separated into 3 fully functional units, which is perfect because everybody has their own space. The lower unit is a 2 bedroom and quite a bit larger which allows for a more communal space to hang out and make dinners. The location is fantastic, close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away that it’s quiet at night. They were able to accommodate any request, and every recommendation they made for dining/excursions was spot on. I can’t recommend this place enough, Holbox is a magical place.

The location is fantastic, we had direct beach access, making it very easy to go to the sea and back. The outdoor terrace allowed us to enjoy the views and the breeze. The Staff was in communication at all times and was very kind. Thank you very much for everything, I'm sure we'll come back

This very incredible house, perfect for a long stay, the kitchen is complete, we really had a very pleasant stay, there is no super large, we did super before going, consider the same that there are not many restaurants and what there are closes at 6 pm, we found a taqueria in the center that only works at night, there we ended up having dinner, but better to make provision for cases like this, it is a very small town really, to escape from everyone and be relaxed.

Right on the beach! Soft sandy beach very walkable. Wonderful swimming each morning. The sea is fairly shallow so you can go quite a ways from the shore. Kite surfers fun to watch. El Cuyo is a quiet town. No grocery stores but small bodegas so bring supplies with you. But you can get basics locally. Great place to stay to just chill and relax. The electricity goes out once in awhile, but no problem. Went to dinner at a restaurant that had a generator. If you want an upscale fancy place, go to a resort in Cancun. This is a more rustic authentic atmosphere. We enjoyed it and would recommend it. We loved it!

We loved our stay at Hacienda Antigua and El Cuyo. Overall a really lovely, comfortable space! We appreciated the location, the screened porch, and the stocked kitchen. Matthias was helpful and responsive and the caretaker, Magaly, was very attentive. The only unfortunate thing was some confusion around the shared garden space which was not presented to us until halfway through our stay. The confusion seemed to have extended to another group as well because they were angry and abrasive towards us for existing. All that said, we’d definitely recommend this beautiful place.

A perfect spot in El Cuyo - private balcony facing the beach and semi private downstairs area shared with the downstairs unit. A beautiful gatito greeted us on the patio in the mornings. Honestly just a perfect spot in El Cuyo - the a/c was also much appreciated. Very functional kitchen.

A beautiful, well situated rustic cabin, that made us feel the real beach charm of El Cuyo. But more importantly, just about the best airbnb hosts I have come across in my decade of using this platform as a guest and as a host. Ximena solved our quandries, was responsive ans went above and beyond to help us feel heard and understood. you are in good hands here.

The place was as shown in the pictures and description. Communication with Alain was very quick and friendly. Sympathetic landlord. Large bathrooms. Several restaurants and shopping are within walking distance.

If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and private jungle experience, this is it. The home is absolutely gorgeous - I promise these photos don't do it justice! It is extremely private, located just a little bit outside of Solferino. Solferino is the perfect little town with so many kind people. Just 30 minutes from Chiquila and a quick ferry ride to Holbox if you want some more excitement. Octavio and his mom were excellent hosts, and even made us some homemade juice from local fruits that was delicious! Do make sure you get directions to their cafe before you get to the town. There is no cellular connection and we had a difficult time pinpointing exactly where they were, especially considering we got in quite bit later than planned and it was dark out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
