Beachfront holiday rentals in Huahine

For almost nine years I've been traveling with AirBnb, this is by far the best place I've stayed in. The place is idyllic! A park in the middle of the lagoon where nature is unspoiled and beautiful. The accommodation has been tastefully decorated and has all the comforts you need. The lagoon, deep enough to swim is in front of the terrace and accessible at any time of day or night. Snorkeling is possible as well as kayaking. Sam and her husband are taking care of you. They transfer you according to your needs and give you valuable tourist advice. They share their passions for vanilla and tiaré culture. It was a very nice meeting in an Edenic setting. We will be back.

if you've ever thought about a tropical Paradise, this is certainly it! Tahui and Liz have put together an amazing home away from home. It is very comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen including the best insulated french press ever! Every morning we enjoyed pastries from the bakery which was just a few minutes away by car. We loved swimming and snorkeling there. Live Coral and plenty of exotic fish, including a manta ray. The double kayak was fun to paddle around. Tahui and Liz gave us great guidance for beaches, restaurants, and more. Their 5 dogs and 3 cats are real characters whom we enjoyed. In Fare, we enjoyed the market days when everyone brought their produce, fish, etc. out to sell. I just want to emphasize the beauty of Huahine, the island itself and the people who live there. Happy people, friendly people, helpful people, wonderful people!

We cannot believe our good fortune staying here. Best swimming beach out the back door, friendly host family, market a quick walk or bike away. the popular sunset dinner view is a walk down the beach, and a truly delicious restaurant with a killer chef is walking distance too. you have bikes, you have car or scooter rental, you have privacy, you have it all. We would not look anywhere else to stay on this lovely island.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. The sunrise is from a dream. It almost doesn’t look real. The home was great inside and the garden was perfect- especially the little tree house that the kids loved to play in. JC went above and beyond as a host. We highly recommend for a family. The location is beautiful and central, a car is a must for this area of Hauhine.

We felt very comfortable in Frank's house in the immediate vicinity of the sea. Everything was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and we were very happy to use the two bikes for trips to the harbor.

The place is perfect for 2 people Clean bungalow, with full amenities Host available if any questions And as a bonus, a magnificent view, an amazing sunset from the terrace!! I will recommend your place without hesitation, thank you for this stay!

Tumu Ora was our half acre of heaven for 8 days. The private dock and beach are fantastic and the accommodations are simple and charming. Everything we needed was provided. It was great to be able to easily walk to Fare at a moment’s notice. Lisa was easy to work with and was very accommodating with our questions and minor itinerary change a few weeks before arrival. We had no issues with security or dogs barking in the night. Did I say how great the dock is? So great. We spent the majority of our trip on it, reading, eating, relaxing, diving and snorkeling. The other place that we spent the most time in was the air conditioned bedroom. A life saver as temps never left the mid eighties (with full humidity). The WiFi was solid. Bugs were not a problem for my wife, but they did pester me a little. Not that I saw them, maybe 2-3 mosquitoes the whole time and the itches were forgotten after a quick dip in the sea. We would definitely come back to Tumu Ora. Didn’t really want to leave.

Our stay in Fare was delightful. The upstairs apartment was simple, but very clean and perfect for our needs. The lovely open air kitchen (don’t leave fruit on the counter or the birds will get it!) looks out to the lush green hills, and just a few steps away is the pretty beach with perfect water for just floating in. We loved the location close to town and needed a car which can be rented on sight for only 2 days of our trip as restaurants and grocery are easily walkable. Don’t miss happy hour at the yacht club and be sure to have dinner at Métis. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and we so enjoyed getting to know them and learn more about this special island.
