Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, open living and dining room area. Outdoor terrace, private entrance and free parking. Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

Báran, Studio by the sea

By the sea and scrapyard of Seyðisfjörður we offer our newly renovated studio space with a great view over the fjord, but still just a 8 min walk to the town center. It offers a king size bed and a single lounge bed with a pure icelandic wool mattress in the living area for a third person if needed. It is simple, lovely and unique. Note that we live in the other part of the house so even though the studio is private with private entrance a family lives in the other part of it.

Approximately 50 kilometres outside of Reykjavik, more precisely, in Hvalfjordur is a little cottage located right by the ocean shore. On the ground floor is a joint kitchen/living room includes a microwave and a dishwasher. The kitchen view is the sea itself. Toilet with a shower On the second floor has a bedroom loft with 2 queen size beds and one single person’s bed.

A wonderful cozy cabin surrounded by trees in front of Álftavatn lake. Amazing sunsets, sunrises and stargazing and with a bit of luck watching northern lights dancing above. This private space is a warm and cozy peaceful place, perfect for couples, families and friends. The house has a spectacular view of Álftavatn lake and mountain. Only 20 min drive from the Golden Circle and other tourist attractions. If you love nature and peace this is the place for you!

A two-bedroom apartment with double beds measuring 160x200. We can prepare an extra bed for the 5th guest, and a cot for a small child on request. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom where you will find the necessary cosmetics and towels, as well as a living room. It is a quiet place overlooking the ocean. 10 minutes' walk to the lighthouse. 12 minutes' drive to the airport. Great places to start or end your adventure in Iceland.

Get close to nature at Bessastaðir. Cozy old house with warm character, big garden, many bird species around. The view is magnificent all year round, amazing sunset and sunrise. The house is close to the sea and it is very nice to take walk to there and listen to the mysterious sound of the sea and seabirds. You are also free to take walk around our land, as long as you are not walking on our hay fields.

A charming country home near a national park

A cozy and atmospheric family country house designed and built by the owners with dedication and love, with additional help from their children and friends. Arnarstapi, is a small fishing village with a beautiful dock where local fishermen keep their boats. The house is situated only a short walk from the scenic cliff side near a beautiful national park with the majestic glacier Snæfellsjökull.

During the summertime a gas grill will be placed on the summer deck which you can use. it‘s just about 5 minutes walk to a swimming pool and just about 2 minutes walk to the grocery store and liquor store. In the same neighborhood is e.g. the Icelandic Seal Center and the wonderful restaurant Sjávarborg.

Brimilsvellir small cabin

This private small cabin (ca. 26 qm) is located at our farm Brimilsvellir. You have a magnificant view to the ocean, beautiful mountains and our horses. There are small cooking facilitys in the cabin with a fridge, water cattle, toaster, plate and microwave. You have very great conditions to see northern lights from september until april.

Raufanes Guesthouse

The 1800 Sq ft apartment is in a Retro style Icelandic 1957 farm house on a 360 acres, free time farm, with horse’s , bulls, sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits. A dog and a cat ; ). From the house it´s a 50m walk to the beach or a 10 min drive by car to the nearby village of Borgarnes.
