At the heart of the world, we offer accommodations in adorable homemade tiny houses. Full service and environmentally friendly policy. Greystone guesthouse is located on the sheep farm Holt, Thistle and guests are welcome to participate in our farm work. Holt stands high in the country, so it's a unique view of the town-loaded, of the vast honesty and coastline of Thistle. The houses are 25 sqm and well equipped, with a kitchen, bathroom and sofa corner. Breakfast is served in baskets and is included in the price.

Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
