Golden Circle Cabin in private area with hot tub.

The cabin is by Lake Álftavatn right on the golden circle. It is a 120 sq m house in beautiful surroundings. 4 bed rooms one of which is a loft, with comfortable double beds. The kitchen area and living room are very spacious. The patio has a hot and cold tub and outdoor shower with great view of the northern lights. We are situated in a private setting with nice walking trails nearby. Kerið is 5 min away, Gullfoss and Geysir 40 mins and Thingvellir national park 20 minutes. HG 0001170

Secluded Cabin on the Waterfront!

Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

A wonderful cozy cabin surrounded by trees in front of Álftavatn lake. Amazing sunsets, sunrises and stargazing and with a bit of luck watching northern lights dancing above.
