Apartment holiday rentals in Iceland

Seven minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. Great parking at the church for the cheapest parking price in town and incredibly secure. Average price was about half price or better of any hotel downtown. Savings allowed me to have a rental car and do some of my own touring. Parking was great on site at the apartment. Very clean building and facilities. YouTube was great for learning how to use the stove and wash washer/dryer.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

I had the most amazing stay at Linda’s place !!! The view is breathtaking in million dollar apartments, close to everything ( like a 1 min walk ) the place is absolutely stunning next time I come I’ll only stay at Linda’s 🥰

I can't say enough good things about the studio: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, huge shower, plenty of storage, and a big TV. It's set back from the street and very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and I was comfortable walking alone. It was the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Being so central, you can walk to the main attractions easily. It's 5 minutes max to Bus Stop #9 for tours/Flybus and one block to Laugavegur with great restaurants and shops. It could not be better situated for sightseeing. While I didn't meet Roald, I was in constant contact with Sigurthor before and during my trip. He was incredibly patient, responded to all my questions within minutes, and provided great recs. He was unfailingly kind and an absolute delight of a human being. It felt more like staying at a friend's house instead of an Airbnb. I highly recommend the Cozy Studio. The stay at Olga's was really great! The hostess was very nice and welcomed us very warmly. The property is very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Absolute recommendation!

beautiful apartment in the middle of large Icelandic space, very spacious with two rooms (kitchen and bedroom) with a breathtaking view, a small sofa and a fairly convenient bathroom; all the necessities finally, we unfortunately only stayed one night but it was a pleasure!

Really nice place to stay in Selfoss! Not a commercial apartment but rather a place that Irena and her family actually stay - really warm, cozy, and spacious! You can find everything you need; also a great place for kids!

My husband Geoff and I can't recommend Randover's place highly enough. It is perfectly located close to the center of Reykjavik and is lovingly and stylishly decorated. It has a private entrance and there is ample street parking if needed. The space itself is quiet, spacious, and light. It is located underneath another apartment but we hardly knew the other occupants were there. Randover is an avid reader and has an eclectic collection of furniture and books. Randover provided lots of local tips and the information about the space was easy to follow. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Possibly our favorite Airbnb stay in Iceland. We loved the interior of the apartment, it was a combination of modern design and cozy lived in elements; so both good looking yet feeling very friendly and inviting and liveable. The location was incredibly central, all the restaurants and stores that we had highlighted for a visit were no more than 5-10 minutes walk away. The only negative I can think of is that we only stayed two nights, wished we had booked a longer stay!

Eyrún place was perfect for our trip! It was located so well, about a 30-45 mins drive from the airport, 15-20 mins drive to Reykjavik, and close enough to drive the Golden Circle in a day. It is also close to many convenience stores and a Costco. The place was beautifully decorated and clean. Check-in/out & parking was easy. Eyrún was very responsive and nice Overall a great stay!

Hannes place was perfectly situated for us. It was easy to get to all our destinations, we had a rental car, and it was quiet and peaceful after our day’s adventures each day. Hannes was great with communication and had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed for our week. We even got to see the Northern Lights right above the unit on our last night there! Amazing! Hopefully we will get a chance to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Styrmir is a great and friendly host! The place itself was spacious and lovely and was an easy walk to many places.

Tinna’s place feels like home away from home❤️ The family is very welcoming (including the cats!), the apartment is cozy and the location is optimal with a walking distance to the city centre, bus terminal, university etc. Tinna also cooks great icelandic food😋

A very nice little apartment. Clean and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet. Erna was very responsive and her instructions about entry and ground transportation were clear and very helpful. We had a fantastic stay at Oli’s apartment in Reykjavik! The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the amazing coffee machine made our mornings even better. The location is great, just a short walk from a public swimming pool with thermal baths, a supermarket, and a bakery with delicious bread and viennoiseries. Oli was a wonderful host. He sent us a thoughtful list of recommendations for things to do in Reykjavik and the surrounding area, which we really appreciated. He also checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. One of the highlights of our stay was spotting the Northern Lights right from the kitchen window, truly unforgettable! We would love to revisit Iceland in the winter (dec-feb) to enjoy the snowy scenery, and if Oli’s place is available, we would absolutely stay there again.
