Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Illinois River

We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts live on site, but separately from the airbnb, and they definitely gave us privacy! We were able to communicate with them quickly about how to use the heated pool and customize the hot tub to our preferred settings :) We utilized the fire pit and made s’more’s with a kit they provided, which was awesome!! Clean-up was just place your trash in the breezeway and clean your dishes - nothing excessive. Overall 10/10 visit and definitely recommend!!

Heather's place has everything I needed and then some. She's a thoughtful host that goes above what's needed to make guests feel welcome. The location is perfect for accessing Constitution Trail with a very short walk to Keg Grove Brewery, the beautiful White Place neighborhood, and Illinois Wesleyan campus. I loved the shower, the front and back porches, the comfy couch where I napped more than once, and the decor/style of the home. It very much matched mine. It's a great place to stay in Bloomington/Normal and I'd return in a heartbeat!!

Exactly as the listing shows, great views, beautiful decor. Hot tub was perfect and ready to use, simply open and enjoy. We will definitely be back if staying in Peoria.

Ericka’s stay was more than expected. I felt right at home as I walked in with tons of amenities making it even more cozy during the stay. Ericka was very open in communication being responsive, helpful and friendly with easy and clear instructions for a self check in. There are supplies for the four legged fury friends as well. Full kitchen and living supplies you should ever need along with labels making navigation to comfort a breeze. This place is a favorite in the area

Very Beautiful Home with a fantastic View. A peaceful and tranquil spot that my partner and I enjoyed. Host was responsive and really helpful. Would definitely recommend for any who is looking for quiete get away. Will a book Again in The Future.👍🏽

Thankful we found this house to stay for Thanksgiving! The house was clean and a good size. The sun room was PACKED with the best games for the kids and adults to stay busy (it was very cold outside during our stay) foosball, air hockey, darts, tons of board games, tv in every room, lots of blankets. The host was also very generous to stock essentials in case we forgot, like toothbrushes, shampoo, lotions, etc. the kitchen had lots of sugar, flour, coffee, etc (I feel like that’s rare at an Airbnb). We also had a winter view of the Mississippi River. 100% will stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed. I wish it was summer so we could spend time in the back yard and the creek.

We have stayed in many of her listings and it’s always clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Dawn goes above and beyond to accommodate us. Will always use her property for our visits to family. Always a pleasure to know that we have a home away from home with reasonable rates and excellent customer care.

it was nice, clean and modern. only 2 bedrooms and the second bedroom has 4 beds. 2 on the ground floor and 2 up in a loft. would have liked a bit more space but it's good.

Very nice place. I’d love to come back and try another cottage or stay in the same site. Clear instructions/communications. Perfect location/distance from highway (came from Chicago). Really good food nearby. Quiet time and privacy - great for a peaceful getaway to recharge and reconnect. Clean and organized space.

The location was great and in walking distance to everything! It was very clean and comfortable. We didn't realize that it didn't have a living room or common area to for us to all hang out, but we made do with a little table and chairs in the big bedroom.

Cute getaway. On a main road. But perfectly quiet. Furnishings were very nice. More than we expected.

Great hostess, very responsive to questions. Beautiful area, she provided recommendations for places to eat and pick up items from the store. She showed us all the goats, chickens and horses.

Maddy’s place was perfect! Our trip was changed a few times due to work and Maddy was always so quick to help and adjust everything we needed. We will absolutely be staying again if we come back to the area!

We had a lovely time at Brittany's place. The place was clean, comfortable, and supplied with thoughtful amenities. We really appreciated the attention to detail. We were committed to plans during the day but when we got back in the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out at the water and listening to the frogs. Private and quiet- love that you can't see neighbors and the nature trail out back is lovely for meandering around. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Brittany!

We had an amazing time at this place!! It’s better than the pictures! Very private and so peaceful. The place was super clean! We enjoyed so much to relax surrounding by the nature. The row boat was cool and there is also a creek down the heal and lots of trails all around. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the grill. And our dog enjoyed so much running around freely (with our supervision at all times). The water does have a bit of a fishy taste (common in cabins,etc.) so you might want to bring water bottles with you. There are a few small towns 10-20 minutes away for shopping, attractions etc. There is also a nice big lake for swimming/fishing, and a great affordable place to rent boats- 20 minutes away. We usually don’t go to an air bnb twice, but we might be back for this one!

We stayed at Tammy's place for the first time a few years ago. We fell in love in the cabin. This time around, we wanted a similar getaway and immediately booked Tammy's place again. We love everything about Tammy's place. Clean, comfy, private. We will definitely be back.

We LOVED this place so much!! It felt like the perfect balance of clean and cute, yet kind of a pleasant peek back in time being a refurbished cabin! Lots of charm and character. And the coffee cake was delicious and so welcoming. We’d love to stay here again if we ever are in Illinois and would recommend it to anyone. Very clean and well-kept!! This place was a breath of fresh air in our adventures. Thanks for being great hosts!!
